David outlined the services and estimated costs. Throughout the whole process David was very considerate and patient with our questions and request. He allowed us to edit our video several times and even changed the program at the last minute. The service itself was outstanding and I was very happy we made the choice to have it at the Funeral home. Lastly, since my Father was a veteran, he was honored by the VFW and the Army. David recorded the ceremony and provided the recording to my family. It will be something I will always cherish.

We recently attended a funeral at this place and were very disappointed, not only in their lack of…read moredirection/planning/professionalism, but in the fact that no additional seating had been prepared for the overflow and no one had introduced themselves as part of the funeral home so we had no way to ask questions about if/where we could sit until just minutes before the funeral started. They also had not saved seating directly behind the immediate family for other close family members (this is done out of respect for the family) even though this is normal professional courteous procedure. And there was not enough parking in their lot making it difficult for people who had to park out on the street (during rain) especially for those who were elderly and/or disabled. I emailed the home after the funeral asking them to address these issues. It has been 10 days since and....crickets.

A friend passed Nov. 24, 2023. I drove from out of town to Stumpff on Wed. Nov. 29, 2023. The…read morefamily visitation was to begin at 5:00, I was there at 4:05. Stumpff would not let me see the person, they told me the family had not see him yet. I replied he has been here since Friday and your telling me the family has not been here yet... the reply was No they have not. When my parents passed I went to the funeral home in Caney, Kansas, and sat with each of them for 30-60 minutes a day or 2 before the services. I could not believe the family had not been to the funeral home when the services were the next day. Then, after the services I went online to view the pictures that were shown at the service and guess what.. they were not there! I called Stumpff and told them about this and they immediately loaded the pictures onto the website. This is incompetence at its highest level! I have heard other negative things about Stumpff and I would not recommend them to anyone.
