You start off with a short safety demo and a chance for everyone to quickly practice. Beforehand they send you template options so you know what you're creating. They also let you send a custom design which is what I did. This was such a fun new experience! Once you get going it's pretty relaxing. You will need to return in a few days to pick up your finished rug. FYI, you can't see any signage from the street, but it's right next to the ice cream shop. Parking: paid street parking and a few paid spots right in front of the business.

The instructors were very knowledgeable about the origins of fragrance and they were able to break down the different fragrance types thoroughly . I may add chemist to my résumé now lol. It is a very intimate setting and I think it was well worth it for the price. Atl Glassworks has extremely high prices for basic things that you can learn online. I have always…read morelearned better in person so I booked a class figuring it would be an investment in my craft. I suffered a severe emergency and missed my class and following up with the company as soon as I was able to and was told that I can get zero refund or reschedule. So I am out $200+ dollars. I understand small business cant take a loss on the supplies but it isn't like they couldn't be used in another class. A full or partial refund or reschedule would've helped me a lot in a time of need due to the emergency. I realized just how easy it is to learn online and will be going that route. 1/10 overall. Edit to update: 50% off of a future class????? Like I'm going to come back when you can't give some grace for a mental health CRISIS .. not a "mental health day". I was not in a state to notify ahead of time or I would have. I didn't just forget to put you on my calendar. Just because you're a small business doesn't mean you shouldn't treat people like people if anything you should more so. That is what makes good word of mouth for small businesses. I have plenty of other sources I'd rather get help from. That have good business practice and don't steal peoples money when they're down.
