Davron was recommended to me by a lawyer I am using for some French administrative documents. I had never had to do anything like this before - not only have the docs translated into French, but certified/authenticated and apostilled in 3 different countries - so there were a lot of layers. The employees at Davron were delightful, and even though I often got a different person replying when sending a new email, I felt like they were either in the loop on my dossier or they were patient and available to allow me to explain and then they could advise. It took a while before I even sent them the documents for translation so I appreciated that they, despite not being paid yet nor having any sort of guarantee that I was going to use them, were very helpful, answering all my inane questions (of which I think I had many!) and even having a brief complementary call across the Atlantic Ocean with a super nice and understanding representative, and they never seemed put out or annoyed by my multiple queries. They were very professional while still being human and graceful. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently they worked and their prices were completely reasonable. I had done some comparisons with other firms and Davron were much more affordable. In addition I knew they were legit and registered by the French government so I didn't have to worry about whether the translations would be accepted. In all, I am very happy with their work, would recommend them to friends and family and will probably use them again. read more

1. I used Davron for two legal transaction translations with in 4 years. ( Buy and Sell from the same shares) The second time they copied the first document with information that had already changed so in the end a lot of mistakes. 2. I asked for a bill to me instead of the Notary, up to now no reply read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I paid them to translate a document although the quote included fees that I was not informed of upon calling them. I made my payment and confirmed it by email. I never heard back from them. I needed to add another document and was told by the man who answers the phone (after MANY attempts) that I would have my translation quote sent the same day. I never received anything. It's now been over five days (their own deadline) and I haven't received the first part of my translation. I called them this morning, and the OBNOXIOUS agent I spoke to (the same as before) was not only unprofessional but EXTREMELY rude, he has ZERO human touch and a lot of attitude; told me they never received the funds -although the payment was made and they could have replied to my earlier emails- and told me that was not his responsibility and HUNG UP ON ME while yelling at me! read more

Unprofessional, illegal, disrespectful practices. Only a few hours after requesting the cancellation of an order placed on their site (containing illegal practices such as displaying the price excluding taxes just before the final payment step), I claimed my right of withdrawal. They refused to reimburse me when the service had not yet started. They protect themselves behind their T & Cs which are not in accordance with the law. Their response to this: "Article 10.2 clearly states the following: "10.2 However, if a customer on the order form requests performance of the services within a shorter period than the cooling off period, he cannot request a refund and must pay for the service in full in accordance with the T & Cs." However, you ordered a translation within 5 days. Refund does not apply in this case. " They claim I asked for faster execution when it is the default choice they offer, which I didn't have to click, and they call it "Standard". They use this argument and confuse the notion of the cooling-off period into a dishonest argument. We have emphasized in comments from clients related to their business that we are not the only victims of that company. Also, they returned a FALSE translation to me, mistaking the NAME despite my initial warning of handwritten confusion. Not to mention that it came in after expected delivery time, and that the translation was made in non-compliance with the GDPR: Personal data sent attached by email when it should have been delivered from a link to a secure server. Today, more than two months later and despite my numerous e-mails, they no longer respond. In addition to not being professional, they are terrible with their employees: I invite you to take a look at their profile on the "glassdoor" site where the employed victims are numerous. I also noticed that they respond to their negative comments (on google) by claiming that they are false because "they do not have that name in their customer list". In case of a response of this type I will not hesitate to repost a comment with more details. Go spend your money with serious people who DESERVE it. read more

Fast, well-priced and friendly translation services French/English.

Translations are a way of life for an Expat. I see that in the past they had some bad reviews. I never saw them and went with them after having a bad experience with another company. I was really impressed with them. They were very fast and easy to work with, I did almost everything by email, by choice. They were accurate and where i pointed out a mistake they took care of it very quickly. They even made a point of asking me for more information when i had not realized what else was going to be needed by the agency requesting the documents. It was pro active in making sure i was set up for success. I am a tough customer but when you win my loyalty, Im yours for life. I have already been in contact for an additional document I need and have the utmost faith that the bad apples of the past have been weeded out and you too can trust them to give you good, fast, affordable work. FYI...I almost never give 5 stars, so the 4 star rating is actually really great. read more
