To anyone seaking therapists in the Charlotte area: BEWARE OF ZOEANN DAVIS. She saw my husband and I twice for marriage therapy. It felt really weird from the beginning because she was so opinionated and judgemental. I admitted I have body image issues and her response was, "Well then you should definitely not get pregnant and have kids." She knew one of our problems (for why we were even seeing her in the first place) was it was difficult for us to get pregnant. After our second session with her she said that we needed to see her separately for our marriage counseling. No reason given. She dropped me before even meeting with me once. The only "reason" she gave to that was I have issues that are too hard to fix... She continued to see my husband for 3 sessions. During these private sessions she worked on convincing him and giving him advice on how to leave me because "he could never be happy with someone like me". THEN went on to tell him personal things about her life & show him personal pictures on her cell phone. She literally almost broke up our marriage trying to convince my husband that due to my disorder I WOULD cheat on him eventually. How is this woman still in the practice? We are not the only ones who have had similar experiences either. I checked Google. read more
