When I first looked for someone to repair my riding lawnmower, there weren't many to pick from, so I thought I'd have to pay a lot to get the work done. I visited Dave first just to see what kind of guy he was and get a feel on his character. Let me tell ya, he's down to Earth, his handshake is his word and he understands how hard people work to make a dollar. I had a good bit of work to be done. He guesstimated me at about $225. Took my mower in for a tuneup and blade sharpening. The wait was three times longer than I was told to expect. After having been "serviced" the mower is harder to start and sputters, plus the blades of grass are jagged, so I'm not sure anything was done to it.a Maybe he thought I was just a stupid woman who wouldn't know any better. read more
