Only comment I would like to add is that she will "highly recommend" the vaccines that are recommended by the CDC. I didn't want my son to have hep b and some others and she insisted on it and of course my husband agreed with her. My goal was to delay the vaccines not put it off all together. So if you are like me and want to delay the vaccines (spread them apart) then just be ready for some "lecturing"). Overall I would highly recommend this office. All the medical assistants are super friendly as well.

Dr. Tanaka did an exceptional job communicating her thought process, asking for my input and answering all of my questions patiently. She called after hours to check up on how my daughter was doing, asked to see her the next day and gave me a thorough assessment of the progress that was being made the following day. You can tell she genuinely cares and was so happy to see my daughter's personality shine thought again. She went the extra mile for us by asking us to draw blood before prescribing steroids to increase the chances we were treating the right underlying symptoms/ issue. This added admin on her plate but I appreciated that she didn't go straight to treating my child without being more sure about the underlying cause.

Dr Chapman was the best doctor you could ask for and was incredibly attentive to my eczema, asthma, and various allergies. I always felt safe and cared for as a child in this office, and I really loved all the paintings and decor in the different rooms. The giraffe, train tracks, hanging monkeys, and tree painting will always be etched upon my mind! All of those fun touches really make it so much more comfortable when you're a kid. And of course I absolutely loved the reef tank in the waiting room. Here or there you might deal with a bitter receptionist but you'll find that everywhere. My mother really loved Dr. Chapman and this office as a whole and again, I couldn't have had a better childhood doctor. They were always on it and we never ran into any issues with incorrect or late prescriptions, inaccurate advice, etc. For the sake of transparency, I haven't been a patient here for five years so I can't speak to how the office is currently, but they deserve the five stars from a previous patient who is a happy and healthy adult. I will always be grateful for Dr. Chapman and ABC pediatrics.

This office is tapped into an amazing network and community of medical specialists, not limited to Stanford Network. I'm always impressed how our Primary Care Pediatrician here understands and follows up after the care we get from our specialists. My husband and I were very impressed by the latter because our baby didn't react traumatically from the procedure nor did he have swelling nor bleeding (Unfortunately, our eldest son did not have such a smooth experience in San Diego). We were so pleased with Dr. Ferrara that we decided to continue to see him for our son's newborn well checks after we left the hospital. This led us to this pediatric office. Love at first visit would be the best description of our impression of this place... The office is immaculate, even the bathrooms are very clean. The waiting room has seating, a television, and a small play center for young children. The office staff is cordial and, if you arrive on time, wait times are extremely short. During Covid-19, they enforce social distancing and provide hand sanitizers as well as disposable face masks. The medical assistants/nurses are very friendly with cheerful dispositions that make the children feel at ease and comfortable (This is so important in my book - kids can be tense when they know that they are going to be seen by a doctor, especially when they are cranky from an ailment). My kids say that Marlon has been measuring their heights, weighing them, and conducting their hearing and vision tests since they can remember going to this office. He is very respectful of ensuring privacy of patients while also being mirthful, which is awesome. I can't rave enough about the doctors here; At our first newborn office well check for our youngest son, Dr. Ferrara continued to demonstrate his warm ways. He was very gentle, informative, and gave our baby a hug and kiss on the forehead, saying that he was cute. We then assigned Dr. Ferrara as both of our sons' primary care physician. Dr. Mason is also a top notch pediatrician. Every time my sons see him, he always shows an interest in their personal lives, asking them about school, their future plans, and hobbies. My kids really dig his humorous and super cool demeanor. I appreciate that he is also very informative and is also willing to continue to see a patient until completing all vaccines prior to moving out of pediatric care to adult care. Five stars is well deserved here. My only wish is for a bigger parking lot, but difficulty in getting a space is a rare occasion.

Sometimes I do have to wait a little bit longer than expected, but that is worth it for me because I know I will be seeing doctors and nurses who care and have cared for me my entire life. The little Disney-themed decorations in the numbered rooms are also a nice added touch, they're great for younger kids but I still remain fascinated by them. I will be changing doctors soon, but I have always been treated with the utmost respect and careful attention that any child deserves from their medical team.

There were so many emails I've sent to her about random questions and responses from her within a day. I don't expect that from any physician especially over the weekend, but she knows how much parents would worry just waiting for an answer. My girls are very timid with strangers (as most kids are) and Dr Soong was never too much of anything to scare them or to not seem authentic. She was just herself which was more than enough - someone who sincerely listened, asked questions, made fun and kind comments to the kids and followed up visits later. I don't know how she does it. This is one way for me to thank her for being my reliable source of health care for my two kids. I was grateful that we found her with my first and even more grateful that she was available for my second. Highly recommend Dr. Soong. She embodies an ideal pediatrician ... a safe and caring physician when life happens. Logistics: - Parking is easy (dedicated parking) - Nice waiting room with a small aquarium (we never waited long, if ever) - Easy way to email and very responsive (most important for me) - Friendly staff
