Cottonwood Title Insurance Agency - Lehi

    Cottonwood Title Insurance Agency

Cottonwood Title Insurance Agency was great to work with!…read more Admittedly, I didn't have a whole lot of interaction with them. I had two very small interactions with them upon closing on my house; that was it. However, they were professional and poised throughout the entire process and I really liked working with them. I worked with Ryan on a Friday morning to get all of my papers signed. There was a girl working at the front desk who brought us in some cold water bottles, with their own custom labeling. We went into a conference room while I signed the next 30 years of my life away. Ryan was incredible. Seriously...how to you keep a fat stack of papers that organized. I mean, I get he does this for a living, but still...consider me impressed. He ensured I knew every single paper that I was signing down to a T. If I had any questions about anything, he didn't make me feel bad for asking and I never felt rushed with any of it. I graduated from a good ole real estate school so I was not a know it all, but there was no surprises to say the least. I'll say this: my first signature and my last signature did not look like they were from the same person. After everything was signed, Ryan left the room and came back with a folder. All of the papers I signed were on a USB drive in the folder, which was fancy. From there, I had to go to my bank to get the wire done, and then come back to their office with the wire receipt. If there was one annoying part of the process, it was that right there. Luckily, there is a Cyprus over in Saratoga Springs so it wasn't *that* far...but it meant that I had to go back and fourth, which wasn't ideal. I wish there was a different way to do this, for time and gas sake. Once I returned, I got the keys and remaining paperwork and I was good to go! The keys were in a little pouch and there wasn't much explanation of what key went to what door. Funny enough, my house was unlocked when I went over. I did also get a custom keychain from Ivory. It is sort of funny to have a brand new house and you get a keychain, but I still think it's a nice gesture. All in all, this was an awesome, quick experience. I have nothing to compare it to but I did like how fast and informative they were throughout the process. I enjoyed working with them!
