Had stopped in Rassina, hungry from a long drive…read more We came in from the alley entrance, and were a bit concerned that there were no diners at the tables. But as it turned out, the best area of the restaurant on a warm evening is the large patio area in the back - and this area was filled with people.
The owner / head chef, Lorenzo, along with his staff are very skilled and offer such warm service. The dinner felt more like being a part of a family event than going to a restaurant.
The menu offers wonderfully prepared examples of Tuscan cooking - and an impressive selection of wines.
I highly recommend a visit to Il Toscano.
