We had Christine Peterson come out and look at our house in Calgary. She did not once at any time…read moresay anything positive about our house. On the contrary she picked out negatives and even made some up. Her comparables were old listing. Nothing close to our house that has had several homes sold recently. She estimated our house should sell at 30k less than what other realtors estimated. My wife extended her hand for a handshake as the realtor was leaving and she just turned away and left. We now know why there cheaper. Don't waste your time, hire a professional.

Is there a Zero star rating? One Percent Realty is EXACTLY…read morethat. What they should add is that you get One percent Service, one Percent effort, one Percent advertisement, one Percent manners, and one Percent professionalism!!! After watching a video about 1 percent realty , my husband and I decided to give it a try. It made sense in this day of internet savvy people. After all, the video did mention that most people look up houses on heir own now a days. Made sense to me! We interviewed Colin Palmer and made one request. A simple request. "Keep us informed!" A simple text to let us know how a showing went. We were assured that would happen. Long story short, it was like pulling teeth to get any information. Only when we initiated the conversation would we get a response. Usually in the form of an emoji! I noticed the other house on our street ( which was a regular full fledged realtor) was having an open house. We phoned Colin and asked if we could do the same,as we might as well benefit from the traffic. No, was the answer. Apparently he was too busy with his "many " listings. I did look them up. He had 3 listings ( one of which was ours!) We then asked him to drop off open house signs , as we were willing to put in the effort. Over the course of 3 weeks we did 6 open houses. Not once did he bother to ask how they went, nor did he bother to put in the listing that we were even doing an open house. When we got an offer (lowball) , we sent a letter to Colin giving the reasons for our counter offer. He didn't bother to write up the counter offer in an official document. Instead he just sent our letter to the other realtor!!!! She had to ask him to write it up officially! NeedLess to say, with that buffoon acting on our half, the other party walked. We then went on holidays and asked Colin to do a couple of open houses while we were away. It finally happened after pestering him for 4 weeks! Again,NO follow up! We finally texted him to ask how it went. His one word response was "Zero". We then told him we always had a minimum of 7 couples, even in a snowstorm. His response: " ok, I had 7 then" That did it for me, and we informed him that we were ending our contract. We hired Solomon Yasin from BC Elite Real Estate Group on Thursday and he wanted to have his 1st open house that Saturday! Problem was that Colin Palmer did not get our house off of MLS. When I asked him a second time to remove it. His response: " Call the RCMP" Now isn't THAT a professional response! Well , Mr Colin Palmer!!! NOT a wise move!!! As there is not an opportunity that I will miss to tell this story!!! By the Way! Solomon Yasin ended up selling our house in 6 days! We were kept informed and had 100 percent service! Oh but the story doesn't end! I thought I would let the Head office know about my experience with One percent Realty. After all, if it was my Business, I would want to know how my company was being represented! In true fashion, they did not respond to my letter. Three days later, I followed up with another letter and said I would take my story to YELP. Then I got a response from Mr Ian Bailey. "What do you want me to do?" Well Mr Bailey! I would like you to prevent someone else from going through this nightmare! So folks! Do yourself a favor! Avoid this company!
