We turned to Stephen Rue & Associates for help in a very devastating and complicated custody…read morebattle. It was having frightening outcomes for our daughter and ourselves if it wasn't stopped. We needed to protect our daughter as well as defend ourselves. The other party involved was beating us up with every dirty trick, allegation and method they could imagine, with no concern for our child's safety or well-being and it was working. After retaining other attorneys who just weren't able to help, who didn't have the legal knowledge, concern and presence that was needed, and after another terrible day in court that left us crushed and scared, we called Stephen Rue & Associates. It was a blessing and immediately changed everything. What had been so overwhelming and hopeless was suddenly not only possible but promising. Their help extended beyond the legal guidance, they gave us strength and positivity. For the first time in a very long time we felt we could breathe again. Not only was our daughter returned safely to us, we obtained sole custody! And the other party was finally fully exposed for their actions. It was amazing to watch. We cannot bear to think where our daughter or we would be without Stephen Rue, Raul Guerra and Jennifer. They fought for our little girl and for us as if it was their own fight. Their expertise, availability and compassion is priceless. Down the road, events we could predict, that we feared, did occur and thankfully our daughter was safely back with us then and so was unharmed, thanks to Stephen, Raul and Jennifer. There is no other attorney or firm you should consider than Stephen Rue and his associates. Not only are they the gladiators you need in the courtroom, they are amazing and enjoyable people to know. Also, honest and sincere with reasonable rates and do not try to "nickle-and-dime" people. Five stars across the board for everything. Actually, as our daughter says of them, "ten stars across the board!" and a forever full of thank yous and gratitude.

However, if you want honest, direct and necessary feedback on what it will take to go through litigation, you are in the right hands. I have brought additional cases to Shermin because it's hard to find an attorney you can trust. She is handling a very personal matter to me involving my father's death and some pretty hard to find case law in Louisiana involving the coroner. If my father were around, I think he would approve. I look forward to continuing to work with her as we have taken this case from federal court to state court. It is extremely traumatic and emotional for me as it involves my father's widow and her daughter having me committed to a psychiatric facility on false allegations against my civil rights. I am a mental health professional. I am not the perfect client, and I have done my best at listening to Shermin.

it took about 5 years for my case even then with all my evidence she still lost the case. I already…read morehad so when I I injured it trying to not get up. attorneys would send you to the of their choosing she didn't. I had to get my own doctors check me out and to keep going for five years. She told me once I signed up with her that she would not take my case if she thought she couldn't win, but she lost we even have proof that the manufacturers put this product that almost claimed my life, but injured me on line, knowing that it was a fire and that regardless of time that it was malfunction. Once my doctor gave her all the information about how yes I have PTSD I have damaged money and she had proof of the accident of the my product. She still lost the case. I tried to contact her through the whole five years was going through this case I had to tell her to keep in contact with nobody was calling me then I would see her on Facebook all the time having fun at parties while I'm still waiting for verification for things. We have proof of their own doings and she never would listen when we told her that regardless we purchased the item from a store and it still was in within a year year and a so the of both of them should've been responsible. We even proved that there was no neglect. Everything was maintenance properly on our side. The people even came to check the item we purchased and see that so far nothing didn't see it there wrong that we did nothing wrong. She first told us that they was gonna settle up for $75,000 without even talking to us about it she turned it down instead of discussing and us tell her if we accept it or not. Then she went and told me 50,000 she was gonna tell them for then a lot of time nothing from her. Then she told me that they wanted to settle for $30,000 then after I told her yes except that I haven't heard from her since then all of a sudden I kept calling ever since that last phone call with her. I kept calling. I went on a Facebook page left messages. On every number she gave me even a lawyer. She said it was on her team that helped she even had us meet with him early on in the past I tried to even call his number, but no one called me back. After a couple of months when somebody finally called me, I call back then the person said they're gonna call me back and give me information that they have to check my file so when they check my files, they said there was no update or anything. And the lady that's on her team that's on our website. She said the quit so that's the same that she told me to stay in contact but I even know that the quit nobody told me anything I've been calling and texting and messaging and nothing with this product that I purchased as that was even a recall on the motor so there's a lot of health hazards product still stay in contact with I never was going on. This was a pro bono case I had to keep telling her to do things. She always said she had other stuff she was doing all she had other cases. I didn't feel like a client of hers and now all these years later after I've done everything I was supposed to case my husband lost his machine. Nobody replaced it with a new machine, we did not get compensation at all for the machine. All for my injuries is like since we were the little guys we didn't matter to the company or to the lawyer. I feel drained sick. I was diagnosed with PTSD from this accident. Also my injuries got worse. This company is a well-known company for this machine. It has a lot of well-known brands that they sell, and I said well if this can happen to me and my husband, this can happen to anyone who purchased the other equipment. The Lawyer I really thought she was my he wrote a fight for what was right, but I felt used pushed to the side even I had to bring up that I did not sign an NDA on this so I wanted to let everybody know about this company and how we was wrong than how nobody gave a care about us because we were we all the little guys. I hope this much more into this how we got treated. And even the lawyers for the company that we were going against they came into town for the deposition. My lawyer was so late. Nobody was in the office. We all had to wait in the little waiting area in the elevators were broke the room that we had the deposition and was really hot and stuffy. We did everything she said and still the outcome did not favor us one bit. My PTSD is worse. I already suffer with depressing anxiety. This made it worse, my depression and anxiety I stayed in I miss more doctors appointments than I usually would. I leaving the house. I never stayed in this long. I never this many appointments. This was horrible all the waiting going back-and-forth all the stress from this if anything by following this lawsuit thinking I had someone that could fight for made my health worse. The company didn't care about us. The store, Lawyer.
