The bookshop itself is a book lovers haven with a great mix of books ranging from present day best sellers to beautiful antiquity books. The bookshop also has various ephemera - I spotted cool postcards, an original painting by Dali and tons of autographed letters, books and what really rocked my world was when John showed me a book that belonged in Florence Nightingale's library AND had her handwritten annotations! It's honestly just a beautiful jewel of a treasure shop and looks can be deceiving as the modern exterior hides a lovely collection of rare books, signed firsts as well as books from the time of Shakespeare. Everything was very appropriately priced and I picked up two books that were published in the 1960s (dealing with 'Modern Women' for a very reasonable price). There's something about the smooth feel of a bit of metal between my fingers that has had many lives...maybe a child's bubblegum wish...maybe a busker's pint...maybe a desperate phone call made at the last minute to save a marriage...that fires my imagination. I like to have sets...but the rules are that I can't BUY them (except in some cases)...I have to FIND them...so I have all the US state Quarters, slid into their little blue books like children tucked into acid-free, archival quality beds, all found in my hot little hands after getting change for something. And now, thanks to Lir Coins, I have a home for my gotta-have-a-set-of-Euro-coins-from-every-country collection, as well as blank sheets for my "specials", like the Vatican City 50c piece I got in change at the airport in Venice, or the Irish 2 euro commemoratives I've gathered. It's a small shop, but the people that run it know what they're talking about and don't mind a gatherer like me poking around in the piles of old coinage to see if they have a 1970 Irish penny. Prices are reasonable, and if you're looking for something you don't see, be sure to ask-a lot of collector materials are put away in drawers and cupboards to give shelf space over to the shinies. Bottom Line: I'm still missing 1c, 2c, and 5c pieces from Slovakia...just sayin...

One of the very few locations outside of cities that stock Lyle and Scott, Levis Vintage, Fred Perry, Wrangler Western and a great choice of Gant to choose from. Their suiting department is also full of choice, Hilfiger, Strellson, Carl Gross, Rissellinin and Ben Sherman. There are some really nice ties available whether it be for a job interview or for that special occasion. As well as the suiting section I noticed that they had a new wedding hire section open. From what I saw there were great colours and choice in neckwear with some classic styles of suiting. Def worth a visit!!!!

Staff are super friendly and helpful and they will travel to Dublin to deliver. Very need and tidy. Unwrapped all our furniture and laid it out in the room and took away the plastic! Not the type of service you'd get from most deliverymen. When we ordered our bed, we also ordered a headboard and they even set this up for us and made sure it looked just right, without even being asked. I'd definitely recommend this place for great service and great products!
