From the very beginning, Rob treated me with compassion, respect, and professionalism. Rob and his team were incredibly knowledgeable about workers' comp law and fought hard on my behalf every step of the way. Communication was clear and consistent, and I always felt informed and supported. Most importantly, they helped me recover a settlement that reflected the severity of what I went through and gave me some peace of mind moving forward. This attorney genuinely cared about my case and my well-being, not just the paperwork. If you've been injured at work and need someone who will advocate for you and take your case seriously, I strongly recommend them.

I contacted Phil and after looking it all over, he took the case and from there on, he stood up for me and didn't let me down. I can't go into detail but I do want to confirm that this case was difficult because of the judge's extremely biased decisions and accusations made about me. I was in tears and more many times and Phil was right there and let me vent or grieve. He is easy to talk to and he listens well. For my case anyway, I found him a hero.

I hired them to represent me in my divorce. I received bill after bill and all the money they claim is used but the bills only show that he checked his email which I never sent him any email. I'm now being forced to represent myself after being taken by yet another conman. Andrew may talk a good game when you are in his office but I would only ever recommend him to someone I wanted bled of their money. This attorney showed up 1 hour late for my court date. Of course, that doesn't make the d. A happy. Terrible representation did not do what he would say. He would do when I hired him to challenge urin test. When i ask questions to tom and the rude law clerk conner they got defensive and rudely argued and refused. He admitted to me by asking #what is the iowa farm hemp law. He has no idea. They became rude left me hanging out to dry. I called 3 days earlier to confirm another court date in Scott County. Connor said everything's good only to make a trip over there. An hour and a 1/2 from my house Tom. Biner waits till the last minute to call me 3 hours before. Tell me he's extended at 30 days. And I don't have to go that day. Wasted trip. I would invite him Tom to call me in disgust. But obviously we all know that he won't, as he denies things. You got my number. No guidance. He told me. I would not be able to drive out a state on it. Temporarily restricted license, he was wrong the d o t. Said I can there were several things he said that was flat out wrong, such as fees and finds daddy later denies. Dismissed case and full punishment. Several thousand later and losing license 6 months payin for interlock ignition devise 6 months thousands in court cost fines dot expenses sr22 ignition lock cost jail time probation 1 year and assigned probaton officer. Substance and alcohol dependency evaluation 12 hours substance course and all the expense with it. I am 62 first offense no moving violations in over 5 years blew zero for liquor twice and at station all zero. On disability could not stand on one leg for sobriety test nor. Offered up all information right away to officer that i have medical mmj card disability and that i had small amount of hemp flower that is perfectly legal in iowa and gets shipped to iowa by mail. DO NOT hire tom viner nobody deserves to be treated like this He refused to listen and got very rude when all i did was ask how is this dismissed if i am punished with everything anyway. I have been hung up on by conner. Lied to by conner. $350 hour for nothing but court forms. He never challenged anything and the state offered up a plea deal he wanted me to take before he challenged things no comment from him on officer camera that shows problems and lies from the camera to the officers deposition officer refused to explain the process refused me of water, made numerous mistakes. I cannot begin to mention everything and explain the entire case. Because nobody wants to read a five page manifest for a review so I will leave it like this. Anyone is more than welcome to make contact with me through my profile. If they would like to discuss it further, as I'm sure that Tom will leave a reply on here. Like all of his other bad reviews, this is not true. I don't think I would have taken the time to do this if that was the case.

Mr. Litow is a kind attorney, which is usually an oxymoron. I have found Mr. Litow to be reasonable and generous when you need help. His collection staff is above board, which is nice when you feel scared and vulnerable... No one wants to be handed over to a collections attorney; it's embarrassing to say the least. Mr. Litow is always willing to work out payment arrangements so that they get the money you owe and you get to keep your dignity. I guess that's why he left Mr. Pech, Mr Hughes, and Mr McDonald. Mr Pech is a jerk. He berates people at their most vulnerable and seems to enjoy making you feel like an idiot. I hope I never have to be in a collections case again! It was an extremely chaotic and stressful divorce that consisted of my ex-wife using every stall tactic she could think of stall / stop the divorce from fake brain tumors, cancer and children as pawns to manipulate me. Carolyn and her team were absolutely amazing through the entire process. Carolyn's understanding of the law and years of experience put us in the best possible position for our trial, which we ultimately won. Carolyn is detail orientated and our trial preparation prepared me for everything thrown our way. Just as important as the preparation was how Carolyn handled my ex-wife in court and how the judge relied on Carolyn for overall direction and clarifications made by my ex-wife. I was truly amazed at how Carolyn controlled the court room. Regardless of your need for an attorney I would highly recommend Carolyn in your corner against any legal issue in Iowa City and surrounding area.
