The work was fine. Though they charged me 3 dollars more than they show on their menu price. What's up with that? Also, seriously, been in town for a month. Have been meeting some of the nicest people I could imagine. Super friendly folks. Except for the woman who did my service. Hardly said a word to me. Said more to the other nail tech, who was friendly to me. I was even greeted by another guest on my way out with the kind of hospitality I've been getting since moving into town. I need someone to help with my feet ask I'll probably have to go back, but I sure don't want the same person. I'd honestly rather find a different place to go, it smelled horrible, over perfumed essential oil in the air was just nasty.

If the manager makes an error when charging you at check out, they should not be calling you at nine at night to tell you how much you supposedly owe them. I have paid for multiple services including full package spa days here and for each one, the manager has either mislead me to conditions, left out services, or nickeled-and-dimed me to death with pricing so trivial that even she became confused trying to explain them. I have a $40 credit here from services they left out (or it could be $7 credit, its been over three weeks and the manager still hasn't called me back with an explanation) but at this point I think I'll just let them keep it because, quite honestly, you couldn't pay me to come back to this spa. To put it simply, the relaxation you receive from the amazing masseuses, nail artists, and hair stylists at Simply You Day Spa just isn't worth the headache of trying to pay for it all afterwards.

From an HR perspective he should have been dismissed. He was saying you won't be here long and you don't know what you're doing, just sit down. But yelling and in a demeaning tone. Honestly, after being stuck there for 3 hours and me constantly reassuring his staff member they were doing good because it was the lack of communication and leadership from the owner. I actually wanted to leave but didn't because myself and another guest were standing up for his staff member. He literally belittled her and treated her disgusting. She should file a hostile workplace suite on him. To top it off, our nails were horrible. My girls never want to hurt peoples feelings but I will kindly ask for items to be corrected especially when the total was over $300 My daughter's nails were so bad she cried and begged me not to say anything. They were all filed in different shapes and even the woman who painted the design was clearly in shock with how bad of a job the owner did on them. My second daughter pedicure was a French tip with no pink paint, they still did pink but she said I can deal with it but then her nails literally no words, I did say something like you need to fix these and he said I have another appointment and I can't and there on already so I would have to restart in that moment my daughter cried. My 4 year old niece had her toes and fingers painted that's all they charged us $40 are you kidding me mind you we were there for over three hours because they overbooked I'm still upset about our experience and I should have not paid for their services but I did. I went back and forth with the owner for over 35 minutes because and I quote " all prices are different then the price sheet" my niece 14 got mani pedi for $50 nope it was $75 I asked why he said oh cause the person who did her toes cost different, honestly I don't know how this place is in business. It's not clean ( osha) needs to investigate without notice and the disgusting treatment of the employees is a walking law suit for harassment and hostile work environment. What is sad about it his staff won't file because they need a job and he would be the kind of ex boss to give horrible reference feedback and really it's due to the abundance of stress they are working under and if they quit no unemployment so these people are stuck.
