Simply the best! I reached out to YES career coaching…read morebecause I was feeling stuck and ready for a change in my work. My resume was OK, but I wanted to put my best foot forward. The team did a fantastic job on rewriting my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I ended up applying to a handful of jobs and got an interview immediately. What ended up happening though is that during the resume rewriting process, I developed this newfound confidence in my work that I never had before and I was going to go after what I wanted to do. I started to network with people that I knew in my area at different companies and ended up with an opportunity that was a perfect fit for me. Since I was a referral, the management team was not too focused on my resume but I ended up getting the job! I am thrilled to start this next chapter of my career and I have to thank YES career coaching for guiding me to see the light I had inside of me so that I can show up and be the best version of myself. Highly recommend!!

1 Star I paid $1,800…read morefor Yes Career Coaching because I was looking for professional guidance to improve my job search and secure a cybersecurity position. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I initially left a 1-star review because I was disappointed with the service and the lack of results. After I posted the review, I was contacted and asked to remove it. I was told that they would work with me, take a better approach, and help me with my job search, and I was given assurances that I would receive better support and results. Based on those assurances, I decided to give the service another chance and removed my review. Unfortunately, after giving them approximately another two months, I did not notice any meaningful improvement or change in my job-search results. I have several years of IT and cybersecurity experience and relevant industry certifications, and I have been actively applying for cybersecurity positions. Despite this, I did not see the level of recruiter interest, interviews, or opportunities that I expected after investing $1,800 in professional career coaching. I understand that no career coaching company can guarantee someone a job, and I never expected an absolute guarantee of employment. However, when someone pays $1,800 for a professional coaching service, they should reasonably expect personalized guidance, a clear strategy, consistent support, and measurable progress. What was especially disappointing to me was that I removed my original 1-star review because I trusted the assurances that things would improve. After giving the service additional time, I still did not see meaningful changes. I am sharing this review based on my personal experience so that others can make an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money on career coaching. Unfortunately, for me, the $1,800 investment did not provide the value or results I was expecting.

Once we had agreed upon our messaging, approach, and implementation we were able to bring in the people who are responsible for day-to-day communications whether it be developing and managing social media, and other outreach activities so that this could be presented to those who fund the program, as well as implement engaging strategies on a day-to-day basis. The benefits are that the Buchanan group is able to tailor both the facilitation and expert recommendations so that we have our very own plans, strategy, and processes so that communications can be fully managed in-house. The staff also provided special training for those who may be in particular roles whether they speak to the media, or managing social media on a day-to-day basis. According to Tony Robbins the top things to look for in a business coach or mentor are:…read more 1. Someone who knows how to execute - The best coaches have already produced the results you want. 2. Don't expect perfection - Learn to not only accept those flaws in your mentor, but to also learn from them and model your behavior after what they've done correctly. 3. Someone who is not afraid to tell it like it is - Negative feedback can be hard to hear but is important in order to grow 4. Someone eager to help - Entrepreneurs should look for mentors who are eager to pass what they've learned to a new generation. I can say with confidence that you will find all of these qualities in Stephen. I'm proud to know him and say that I personally have learned much from my time with him. If you're looking for a business coach please stop and call Stephen. There are many "book smart" coaches out there that talk a good game, but Stephen is the type that has walked the walk and can provide valuable insight learned from years of being a business owner himself. Highly Recommend!

What I also knew was that there are plenty of obstacles, pit falls, and other things that would slow my pace. I was tired of the "1 step foward 2 steps back" trial and error method that was my business. I was searching for a mentor that could help me be better. I stumbled upon a LinkedIn post by Steve Chiama that discussed 3 questions about better marketing strategies which hit a nerve since marketing is such a large portion of my budget. During an initial lunch meet up with Steve we discussed several aspects of who I was, where my business was, and my near term goals. We talked about his history and some of the basics of the Action Coach model. Everything Steve said really grabbed my attention because it made sense. I felt that I could learn to be better with his tools and guidance. I decided to make an investment in myself as an owner and hired Steve to be my coach. I am soooooo happy that we met. Steve has helped me focus on defining the company structure and vision. We looked at the financials together and found where things were working and where we needed to tweak. He has helped me understand myself and my true role as a business owner. At times it is a frustrating experience, but when the breakthroughs happen it's amazing! Today my business is more than healthy. I feel more in control and I am confidently adding new team members into my profitable business. As with anything the results you get are a direct result of the effort you put in. If you are seriously sick of treading water as a business owner and have the fortitude to listen, learn, and implement needed changes, then I highly recommend Steve and the Action Coach team. Invest in yourself you won't regret it.

Weather has not been kind to our seasonal business and all our profit and cash flow was getting eaten up by these funding companies and merchant cash advance companies. We started to explore our options as to what we can do to get out from under this unpleasant situation. We looked at dozens of debt consolidation ads, websites, pop ups ect. We happened to be reading a blog about EXACTLY what we were dealing with and at the bottom of the blog there was contact information. We sent over an email and got a call back quickly. The gentleman on the other end of the line seemed to understand what we were dealing with and what our needs were. He started to tell us what they can do for us. It all sounded great. Honestly, too good to be true. We were VERY VERY skeptical. A few months later, we are in the process of catching our breath and looking forward to crawling out of this hole we dug for ourselves. The Business GPS team followed through with exactly what they said they could do. We would like to thank Business GPS and especially Allison Mak, who walked us through step by step and we can now start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Debt consolidation companies can be a real rip off and there is so much negative posting and articles online about these firms. Business GPS is not in the same boat as these other people. I wish I found these folks a lot sooner. If you make the wrong choices in financing like we did, don't be afraid to ask for help. Start with these folks.
