Dave Johnson Interiors was the perfect person to help me with the interior of my new art gallery in Dallas. I was moving my gallery from Seattle to Dallas and I needed a designer to help me with the layout of the space as well as the furnishings. He had great ideas and designed a reception desk and area that you first see when you walk in the door. His preliminary designs were easy to read and he listened to my needs and made the adjustments until it was just what I wanted. He worked directly with a cabinet maker to have a custom built reception desk. The design of it is very elegant and modern with subtle angles that highlight the wood work. I get compliments all the time when people walk in and see my reception area, they love the desk and the pendant lights above it that illuminate it. It is smart and functional. Dave also pick out all the furnishing for my showroom: chairs, tables, sofa, etc. I could not be happier with the way it looks. It is sophisticated and comfortable for clients to sit in. He also designed the my storage racks for the art, one giant white cube divided into sections so that paintings and framed works of art can be stored safely but with easy access to pull out for viewing. This makes it easy for me to show clients a multitude of things while they are sitting. I will definitely use his services again. I am really quite happy the way it all turned out. I loved working with Dave! He brought fresh new ideas that I had not thought of to make my small rooms in my 100 year old house both functional and beautiful.
