I would give this agency a 5 star because of an Agent name Allie there. However, they are receiving this 1 star review because of a lady I spoke to prior to Allie who sent me in to having a panic attack while crying hysterically, to a point to where I was having to catch my breath while crying. This lady could not have been bothered with what I had to say. She kept repeating ma'am you have been dropped over and over again and would not let me get a word in so I kept on repeating "ma'am" so she would listen and stop talking. Instead she hung up on me. I had to call over again to which she sends me onto the voicemail. That happened 10 times!!! Till finally their GM Allie picked up. To which at this point I was livid so I told her "she just fucking hung up on me" as to which she said did you cuss at her? And I'm telling you right now I have not said a cuss word up until I got an answer back. I felt like just a policy number to that one lady (unfortunately I wasn't able to get her name due to our encounter). I was not happy. She had a robotic voice just keep repeating "you have been drop". Never in my life have I been treated by a business like this to where they won't even listen to my questions or try and help me out. My sister and i were Shocked. We had a pipe break And that is when we knew about the 3 thousand dollar deductible. The policies take time.to come so I did not know . ROBIN did not give us any. info. Yesterday, I went to see my Insurance Agent, the Dave Cosper State Farm Insurance Agency in Dunedin, FL. The reason that my wife and I decided on this particular agency was strictly due to their office location being a slight mile from our home. That was about 4 years ago, that we switched all of our Homeowners and Automobile Insurance coverage to State Farm. So yesterday, I had to insure a new vehicle, insure a new Cargo Trailer that I purchased, and terminate my Homeowners Insure, as I am selling my home. I was assisted by Jessica Troxell, Accounts Manager, who was very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, helpful and friendly. A couple of years ago, I was driving my KIA Sedona and I was "broadsided" as I drove through an intersection where I had the "Green Light." The vehicle was "totaled," and the other driver also had State Farm Insurance. Dave Cosper's office helped me out through the entire proccess and were very sympathetic, when some technicalities came up, that could have costs me some copays for medical bills, however, the agency covered their fair share. I would urge anyone in the Dunedin/Clearwater areas to just walk in this office and listen to how they can assist you with your current Insurance needs! I just signed up through (almost a month ago) Dave Cosper using his agent Jessica Troxell and the process felt seamless until after I paid. I spent over 4 hours on the phone with multiple companies pricing the best options for me and felt I had selected the correct agency of which I also thought they were fully transparent. That was not the case. First I told Jessica Troxell I did not want to apply the safe driver discount and guess what, it was applied and i was stuck having to use it otherwise it increases the premium 10%. I also just so happened to find this out because I received a letter on 9/17/20 (which the letter was dated 9/4/20) stating I had 10 days to complete this or it would increase the premium 10%. The second issue was that I asked to ensure that all the different components of the quote were fully complete so I had an accurate payment I could use to compare. Great, Jessica Troxell gave me one. Problem is that Jessica Troxell supposedly "doesn't have access" to some areas that the under-writer has. Once it came back they nickel and dimed me. I had to pay additional money for the premium. Why? You are State Farm Insurance and supposed to be one of the tip top best insurance companies out there. MY family has been with State Farm for over 40+ years and yet State Farm can't compete by giving me a full complete price? The last issue was a stacking issue. If Jessica Troxell knew that there would be a letter needing to be signed and return well that needs to be mentioned via the phone and then a follow up with email as well. Where is the Customer Service. Jessica Troxell is super friendly but very unknowledgeable and probably should have the insurance license re-examined. The fourth issue is the fact I actually called about this drive safe and save device about a week after I set up the insurance (which is when I received the drive safe and save device) to confirm and ask why I received this. Jessica Troxell said specifically to me that Jessica Troxell would check into this and get back to me the next day about the mobile device (and underwriting). Well it took two days for a simple question and answer which Jessica Troxell then said the drive safe device was not an issue and it wouldn't effect my premium. Here is an email showing the lack of transparency within this company: ----start email here---- "Hi Chris! I do apologize that I am just now getting back to you. I spoke to my underwriting department in regards to the differences in premium for both your renters and auto insurance policies. "For your auto insurance, there is a difference of $34.88 on the 6 month premium, making it $564.94 in total. This is because the underwriting department ran your reports before issuing the policy. It could be based off a few different thing including your Credit History Report. For your renters insurance, there is a difference of $6.00 on the annual premium, making it $236.00 in total. This is due to an update on your Loss History Report and the Claim History Discount that is automatically added to every policy. The Drive Safe and Save discount is something that is automatically added on to every policy written, this connects to your phone via Bluetooth and measures how often/far you are driving and the safe practices of your driving. This will never increase your premium but you could see a discount of up to 40% based on your driving habits. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns on any of this information." ----end email here---- I will not ever recommend this office to anyone and I will probably try to avoid State Farm once again due to pricing. I have been with David Cosper for the last 5 + years and have had a great relationship until this past year. Not sure if his staff has changed but my service level has hit the outhouse. Two times in a row I was left without being insured on my vehicles for apprx 30 days each time. I am set up on the auto draft . The first time it happened (and I would give them a pass if they had called me to tell me) my bank had sold and my debit card changed due to the merge of the bank. So my debit card didn't work for the auto draft. So David Cosper's group didn't call me until 30 days later to tell me my insurance was expired but could be reinstated if I paid over the phone. which I did and gave them the new Debit card info. Nobody bothered to enter the new info and again the same thing happened again. 2 months later I get the same call as the first time. I ask for the manager to call me to discuss.
