We sat by the bar and found out this was the first Irish bar in Florence. Most folks were English speaking in the pub, and all the beers were delicious! Got a snake bite the first round, and then a Guinness to round out the evening before walking over to Mercato Centrale for a late night bite. Service was great and attentive, the peanuts tasty and the beer, divine. Highly recommend if you need a nice draft, get it here while you're in town. The vibes are right, the crowd is a mix of young-middle aged, and everyone is sitting outside and enjoying. As an American who doesn't speak great Italian, the staff was very friendly and accommodating despite the very local clientele. I stayed in piazza del campo for a couple of nights and noticed the large local turnout every night. Finally, on my last night I stopped in for a select spritz and beer.
