Fine, whatever, I shop in Germany as much as possible and deal with it when I don't. I am tired of bulky German to Swiss adaptors and so I have been shopping at Interdiscount both professionally (I am in IT and support my office) and personally. I have noticed a disdain for non-Swiss customers here that is unmatched in other retail environments, but in the several Interdiscounts I have visited it is palpable. The incident that finally ended my relationship with this company for life was a store clerk INSTRUCTING Swiss people to cut me in line. The reason, there was too much space between me and the person in front of me. I believe the guy accused me of trying to continue to shop (for what I do not know) and actually told people to cut me. Keep in mind that I often spend 500+CHF at this very store (many times with the same clerk Petzold Alexander in the Schaffhausen branch). I tried to find someone to complain to, but there is no customer hotline online, and nobody, NOBODY speaks English when a native English speaker is around. I actually had another clerk tell me she did not speak English and when I left the store she was conversing in English on a cellphone. This organization either willingly permits this discrimination or encourages it because EVERY other store I have visited has been accommodating to the extent they can be. Long story short, if you are an expat or frankly anything but Swiss (or Swiss with a conscience) I would boycott this store based on self-respect. They rarely beat any competitors prices by a material amount and a few francs are worth not getting treated like a second class citizen by a bunch of incompetent folks who rarely know their products anyway and as other post have pointed out, also do not provide ANY level of service when their substandard products break. The choice is yours, don't say you weren't warned.

Using their Vivonet activity watch for now, and the numerous car units. My most recent toy is the dash cam which actually not too impressed with for now. Then again at $200, it's just a base model. This one only has 1-hour recording time without charging, plus no rear-view mode. Nevertheless, they've got great customer support line.
