I enjoyed sitting there and taking in the Kolonie's atmosphere. If I lived nearby, I would probably only visit when I had friends in town. I wanted to order the russian drinking chocolate but they were out of it. I wanted to order the cookie platter but they were out of that too, so I ordered the plain hot chocolate. It was a normal hot chocolate but I wanted something more special. My boyfriend enjoyed his tea and the glass that it was served in. They have many cakes on offer, some that are not on the menu, so make sure to check the display case.

We had a great meal which included various types of pierogi, as well as beetroot soup and hunters stew. There are plenty of other hearty choices on the menu, all at reasonable prices. The decor is fascinating with lots of interesting stuff to look at in a cottage that is reminiscent of a log cabin. We would certainly eat here again.
