Die großen Kumpir-Grillkartoffeln werden in einem speziellen Ofen in ihrer Schale gegart, anschließend aufgeschnitten und innen mit Käse und Butter oder Olivenöl püriert. Jetzt seid ihr dran! Verschiedenste Kaltbeläge und Saucen stehen zur Auswahl. Fertig zusammengestellte, variable Vorschläge findet ihr in der Karte. Unseren Portugiesentoast gibt es ganztägig. Die großen gelben Croissants aus einer Art Briocheteig können süß oder herzhaft bestrichen und belegt werden. Anschließend werden sie geröstet und warm serviert. Zum frisch gemahlenen Kaffee servieren wir hausgemachte Kuchen und portugiesisches Gebäck, wie die beliebten Pastéis de nata (portugiesische gefüllte Blätterteigtörtchen). We were warmly greeted as we entered the place and picked a spot out near the display case with all the wonderful pastries. All three of us ordered a hot chocolate in addition to a cherry tart and a marzipan for sharing. Before we blinked, our drinks and deserts were delivered. Let me warn you though that if you are used to American Hot Chocolate then this is different for sure. I would almost describe it as a chocolate bar melted into a cup and nothing else. Very delicious but also very sweet. I loved the cherry tart. It was amazingly fresh and delightful and my favorite of the two. My wife and daughter though fought over the marzipan and didn't think as highly of the tart. The ambiance of the place was fabulous and the folks working there super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop back in on a future visit to Potsdam.

I had a lemon merengue tarte which had the perfect size to combine it with two truffles: caramel with salt and their on creation with is like a mozartball. I liked everything und would go again. Prices were 1.20 € for the tarte and 1.00 - 1.20 € for truffles.

We sat inside as it was quite busy outside and all the shaded seats were taken. I wanted something light, so I had the Melon & Ham Caprese- cantaloupe melon, serano ham, mozzarella & basil pesto. I thought it was going to be a small plate, but it was filling. I originally wanted a sundae for dessert, but in the end I only had room for one scoop of ice cream. I enjoyed this pit stop.

All organic and seasonal food made fresh. The chef here really takes pride in the food and it shows. Third was the staff. Our waitress was extremely helpfull and nice. She entertained my friends kid a bit by showing him the kitchen and gave him a paper to color. She also helped us out with a group picture. So if you make it out to Potsdam you should make a trip out here and have some really good German food.
