The prices here are great, €1 per scoop. It's tucked away between a couple of old buildings and you do have to look for it. The eisladen down the road is super popular due to location and seating but the eis here is much better. They have a couple of benches outside for seating but that's it. My favourite flavour here is Sahnekirsche. It's really good. Some of their other flavours are also good and they have a handful of lactose free eis as well. The staff are quite friendly and do offer you a taste before you buy. I have been here three times now and love it. It's not like my neighbourhood eisladen in Munich but, does deliver on quality and taste.

Maybe I am spoilt for choice in Munich and perhaps comparing it to places near my house is not fair ;-)) They have quite a selection of flavours but missing the standard pistachio and hazelnut flavours which is commonplace in most gelateria's around the country. I had the quark cherry and it was nice but a bit too sweet for me. The chocolate gelato was also a bit too sweet and did not have the intense chocolate flavour I am used to. I would come here again. It's a beautiful gelateria located in a beautiful old building next to the river. There is plenty of outdoor seating and service is very good and prices are reasonable.
