UNFORTUNATELY the coffee and this "coffee place" it's horrible! No taste, their avocado toast is mega small, salty and with lots of spices that they don't mention in the menu. Only one method of making their coffee, espresso, no pour over, French press, or anything else. The expertise in food and coffee did not match their perfectly beautiful please. What a shame !

I was casually driving in La Cacho (that's how this area in town is known as) and I saw this little coffee "storage unit" shop, and there's a huge sign that says "come in !" and so I did. This is one of the few coffee places in Tijuana that sells the beans, and even loose tea leaves. The people working here are far too passionate about coffee, they can explain in full detail just the right way to brew a perfect cup, and temperature... everything. When I was here, the girl at the shop had told me that this shop has been open for only a couple of months, I really do hope they stay open for a while! Just as a final note, they also sell coffee accessories ... like a fancy french press, bean grinder, etc. Good place to come for some gift shopping for the espresso lover in your life.

This place was somewhat busy, but we were seating promptly. I liked the decor here, it was bright and lively. There were many semi-private booths, and seating along the center of the place as well. We sat at one of the booths, and ordered our drinks. I went with an iced latte, and we decided to split a crepe. Our crepe came with Nutella, bananas, and strawberries. My latte was pretty good, and gave me a good jolt of energy. The crepe was surprisingly good, which is great considering I don't usually eat sweets. It had just the right balance of ingredients. The staff was friendly, but rather slow in their service. We had to flag down one of the waiters, both to order more coffee, and to get the check. That's one star off for them. But the crepe and coffee we ordered here were great. They also serve food here, but I cannot comment on it this time around.

The food and drinks beats the pants off of anything Starbucks has to offer. This is a great place to just hangout and have a good time with your friends. Unfortunately I'm here by myself and my Spanish consists of maybe 20 words; but, I people watched and observed exactly that. Last night I ordered a strawberry and cheese crepe with a specialty latte + chocolate latte. It was just what the doctor ordered. Today it was a vanilla chai late with a Mezcal flavored apple and strawberry crepe. Really good! Better than anything I had in a cafe in the us. Final verdict. Check this place out :-) By the way the pictures are a compilation of both visits.
