I chose to do the testing just to be certain. Thankfully, there was nothing major wrong with my dog and we were prescribed some meds to support him while he got better. It seemed to be the best experience you could have when having to take your pet in for an emergency. Hopefully, I don't ever have an another emergency, but I am relieved to know I have a nice place close by to take him if I have to. Dr. Braun was amazing. She was genuine, patient, friendly, and it was obvious being a vet was her true calling! She gave me her thoughts and told me my options but didn't pressure me into anything. I felt confident that I could trust her opinion. The tech we started with was also super friendly and caring! I wish I could remember her name. She attentively listened to me rattle off everything I could think of and was awesome with Finn. I was happy with absolutely everyone we interacted with from start to finish. Like most kennels, you are required to bring your pet's food and maybe even a toy. You can also schedule your pet for a bath, so they will be coming home all clean and shiny. Rosie is an 8 month puppy, and I realized she was just "too busy" to leave in the care of my older father. Drop off went as planned as explained on their internet site. I do suspect that they are strict with drop off and pick up times (as well as vaccinations) which was well explained in advance. I was more concerned with pick up and expected Rosie to be a hot, stinky mess. When I picked her up, they explained that she was shy for the 1st day or 2 and then had fun playing with the other dogs. She ate all her food one day but would pick the next. Completely in line with her personality. I expected her to smell like kennel, and suspect they may have given her a bath along the way. She smelled like a dog that had been shampooed about 2 to 3 days before. Appreciate the fact that they kept her clean and bathed her, if needed. She had dirt on her nose at pick up, completely in line with her personality. They also explained that she could be nervous for the next day or two after pick up. I reunited her with my older dog (left with my dad) on the day of pick up. There was hostility between the two dogs all day. I note that I did not give Rosie a bath that day as she appeared clean, and I was just too tired. I expect she smelled of other dogs which may have added to the hostility (and nervousness which MY DOG explained). I gave both dogs a bath the following morning and they were best friends again and hostility was gone. I would recommend this kennel and will use MY DOG again.

They sent us pictures of our little doggie throughout her stay, and even asked us about our vacation. You can tell that they genuinely care about the dogs and put their best interest first. We had to take an emergency day trip and didn't any to leave our four month old Mini Schnauzer…read morealone for 9 hours. We called and asked if they could fit her in the next day. They said absolutely if she had all her vaccinations which she does. We arrived and they were so nice to her and us. We were given a link to keep an eye on her throughout the day, she had so much fun but was a bit shy! They took her to eat with them making sure she had a bit extra care. When we arrived they brought her to us with a gift bag filled with toys and treats for her and us. We were told she had an amazing day and was welcome back any time. We asked about how to pay and they informed us her first day was free. We were absolutely speechless, it isn't very often that a business cares and truly appreciates our business. I've had both my dogs boarded for vacations and have been very happen with the attention and care…read morethat the individuals who work there pay toward my animals and others from what i can see on cameras as well as the interactions i've heard when we drop off and pick up. The dogs are on camera for the most part when the staff are there and i sense no stress from either my french bulldog or weimaraner. i recommend paying for some of the extras , like individual play time and walks as well as the going home bath to get that kennel stink off. In the end there buisness is well run, clean, and the staff are kind. Really appreciate them and the hard work they do for our pets in this community. See yinz soon! :)
