On…read morethe day, only one cleaner arrived, and she worked from about 9am to 1:30pm roughly 4.5 hours instead of the 6-8 hours with two people we'd discussed. The work she did was fine, but I paid for significantly more staffing and time than I received. When I raised this, I was told pricing is based on scope rather than hours, which I understand in principle, but this wasn't a case of the same crew working faster half the promised crew simply didn't show. I asked what a fair adjustment would look like when asked, offered a specific number, and never heard back it's been over a week now. Disappointing, since the actual cleaning itself was good and I wanted to keep using them.

Update: I went to update my original post on Upright Cleanings facebook page and couldn't. I wanted…read moreto post pictures of all the places that were left untouched in my house and to show before and after I cleaned. After almost six months of having to clean my house from top to bottom and also having to reclean places Upright Cleaning "cleaned", I'm even more disappointed in their service. I just don't understand how a "cleaning" leaves streaks on every window and how they only clean half of one window. Hiring them to clean my house was my biggest waste on money in 2017! I would not recommend Upright Cleaning as my house was still dirty after a deep clean. I hired Upright Cleaning Services to deep clean my new home on Nov 12th. They initially came out and cleaned for roughly 5 hours. The house was noticeably cleaner after doing a quick walk through. I returned to the new house a day or so later and on closer inspection a bit of the cleaning had been overlooked. I contacted Upright and EJ was able to come right over that day to fix it. We started to move in a few days later. I again started to notice certain things included in a basic clean weren't just overlooked but they weren't cleaned at all! Examples: My fridge/freezer, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, min to no sweeping. My kicthen cabinets and drawers had powered cheese in them. There was food under my stove. Grease splatter on my backsplash even after pointing it out. Food debris left in fridge and freezer. Cob webs left on walls. Baseboards and grout in bathroom was dirty. The things listed are in addition to the items I had EJ come out reclean. I again contacted Upright letting them know this time I was not happy with the job that was done. Instead of asking them to come back out, I asked for a portion of my money back as I would have to clean or get someone else to do so. I was told that based on the contract that no money would be giving back and that they could come back out and clean. While I truly do appreciate trying to resolve the issue by coming back out but I don't trust that they can get the job done without me hovering over them and i don't have the time to do so. Honestly, if this wasn't the third time they would have to come out I would be fine. And I honestly think it would be a waste of my time as they didn't do it initially or the second time. To sum everything up, EJ and Amelia are nice people but they do not have an eye for dirt. Maybe in a smaller home they could do a more thorough job but not anything 1700 sq ft or bigger.

At 7:15 I check my phone and find a conformation from Courtney about cleaning job and an arrival at 9 to 9:30 ( message sent at 10:30 PM night before) Oh well, willing to let that slide because I sure can't get anyone else to do a move out clean job at the last minute. A real nice lady arrived at about 9:15, we talked for a few minutes and she had to go get cleaning supplies from the store. She had no mop, no broom, thank god I kept both behind. Cleaning took about three hours, a quick look around looked good. But when I went back the next morning to make sure everything is good because an inspector will come by. Microwave wasn't cleaned, front entry wasn't swept or mopped ( about a 2 foot by 2 foot area) Inside window sills not wiped down or tracks, blinds not cleaned. Now I had already pre cleaned the tub, toilet, sink in bath and kitchen, also I had already cleaned three blinds myself. I had agreed to clean the fridge because I did have some food in it. I ended up cleaning for three hours this morning myself because no way would the place pass an inspection from what a professional cleaner didn't do. I recommend paying $250 bucks and hire Merry Maids because it was horrible having to spend hours cleaning stuff that should have been cleaned.

I value loyalty whenever reasonable. So I had her and two of her employees clean my new home before I moved in. It took them NINE HOURS to clean a new house with fresh paint and new carpets and still managed to do a terrible job. There was dust and moths in the window sills, light fixtures not touched at all, blinds were dusty, doors and doorknobs were gross. I told her what was wrong and she said I was wrong and that the house was filthy and that she did a great job. I tried to give her a chance to fix it but she kept giving excuses and eventually just did a no-show, no-excuse. During my move I got bit by my cat getting her into the kennel and ended up in the hospital for two days and didn't respond to her about her fake excuses right away and she told me I was lying about being injured. I would not recommend this business to anyone who expects quality work or accountability and reliability.
