Penny and Devlin are my naked children Penny was my first, she was born roughly 5 years ago and Devlin (2 years in Feb) is a wonderful companion for her. My experience with Janice has been fantastic. She is very kind, professional, and breeds quality Sphynx cats. I think her prices are fair and when we're ready for another we will be going back to see her babies! I have recommended her dozens of times and will continue to. Thank you Janice for the best kitties and a great overall experience buying from you!

Our little Wrigley just turned 1..we love this breed so much. Janice had answered so many of our questions before we decided on adding a Sphynx to the family. She was very informative and continues to be. If I have a question..she will respond right away. I'm very thankful we found a breeder who cares so much. Thank you Janice!

I got my first Sphynx from Janice 9 years ago after doing a lot of research and looking into many breeders. I was so happy when I found Janice! She was patient with us when we were looking for our perfect kitten, and always helpful! Her house was clean and you knew that she truly loved her cats and kittens by the way she treated them! We came to visit several times, whether we were checking out the new litter and deciding which kitten we wanted, or visiting our new little bundle of joy! She was so accommodating every time! Terrabithia is now 9 years old and just a pleasure to have in the family.

Over the many years, we have adopted 4 Sphynx from Janice at Dare2B-Bare Sphynx and they were all perfect. Janice is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and it's obvious she has a true love and passion for them. They have always been very healthy, loving cats that get tons of praises from our veterinarian and family/friends. If you want a quality kitten from a good breeder you can't go wrong with a kitten from Dare2B-Bare! Beautiful cats from a beautiful person.

Janice is wonderful to work with! We purchased our white odd eyed boy Romeo from her last year. We are located in New Hampshire so I was a little nervous. Janice calmed my nerves immediately. Taking the time to talk with me via phone and text throughout the process. She always sent me pictures of him growing and constantly kept the line of communication open. Romeo just celebrated is 1st birthday on November 5. He is the sweetest most outgoing little boy and is always the life of the party. Thank you Janice for your outstanding commitment to quality and care of your babies!

Fanila (I hope I'm spelling that correctly!), Elizabeth and the entire team were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my kids feel comfortable and special, taking the time to let them safely see and interact with the guinea pig, hamster, chinchilla, bunny, and even a chicken. You could tell how much they genuinely care -- not just about the animals, but about the people who walk through their doors. Thank you Magnifico, Daddy Hamster, Chichi, Chili, Dave and Grace Omali In a time where we really needed a little lightness, this meant more than I can fully express. Their compassion and warmth did not go unnoticed. Thank you again for creating such a special moment for our family. We will always remember it! Carolina, Sam, Amelia and Sammy

Their impact is huge, and there are countless ways to help -- no contribution is too big or too small. One thing I deeply appreciate is their Adoption Guarantee: If for any reason an adopter decides their new pet isn't the right fit for their home, the Humane Society will schedule an appointment to welcome the pet back -- without judgment or criticism. This level of compassion and support is rare and shows how committed they are to both animals and adopters. Some meaningful ways to get involved include: Donating money Volunteering Participating in the Dog Day Out program Supporting the Community Cat Program Fostering Adopting instead of shopping Spaying/neutering your pets Sharing or reposting their information to spread awareness The San Diego campus is next‑level -- very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Across the county, they have four campuses: San Diego, Escondido, El Cajon, and Oceanside (Escondido has a great setup for livestock and farm animals). Every staff member I've interacted with has been compassionate and patient. They deal with animals in distress every single day, so a little grace goes a long way.

We tried to do the separation, but they were constantly lying by the door, sniffing, eating treats on each side of the door, as well as playing on each side of the door. After being separated for a couple of days, they met and right away they wanted to be each others' friends! Now they cuddle all the time and play all the time. They even groom each other! I am incredibly grateful for the staff at the Cat Lounge for helping match Nova with the perfect pal! They told us that little Momo was energetic, snuggly, playful, and had a similar personality to our Nova's. Nova seemed very lonely and now he is back to being our cuddly, vocal, happy boy! I am forever grateful for finding Momo here who will be loved and adored by not only my husband and I but by our cat Nova too. I appreciate how they give you lots of resources, details on their health including vet records as well as inform you about their vaccination services. I can't wait to bring Momo in for his next vaccine for him to get to see the staff there. Thank you for allowing us to adopt Momo! He is a bundle of joy and has brought so much happiness to Nova, myself, and my husband.

Each reservation cost about $24.00. That includes an hour of time with the cats, and a drink/snack from the café per person. My partner got a chai latte, and I grabbed a brown sugar(?) cinnamon roll. Both were very good! Special thank you to the barista for the recommendation and the delicious drink. The play-room itself was very nice, with plenty of seating, toys, and CATS! Even with six other guests in the same hour, there was plenty of everything to go around. As with any group of animals (and people), each had their own personality and preferences. JC stayed perched on the palm tree and loved to get pet. The older Bengal cat didn't like being touched, but was a joy to watch. Tatiana (pictured on the table) was slow to warm up to us, but loved to play with the cat dancer. There were about ten cats altogether. The employee inside clearly cares about each cat. He explained the rules clearly, shared the names and habits of each kitty, and was a pleasant guide. Thanks for a great start to our afternoon! See you again soon.

We got to meet a lot of adorable dogs, and one little guy instantly stole our hearts. What really stood out was how thoughtful and thorough TAP's process is. There was no pressure to adopt on the spot, which we really appreciated. After the event, we completed an application and received clear next steps. The following week, our foster brought him to our home so we could spend more time together. That confirmed everything we felt at the event. TAP conducted a home visit and checked our references, and it was clear throughout the process that they truly care about the well being of their animals and making the right match. Our foster was amazing, so kind and supportive. When we brought our little guy home, she sent him with his toys, some food, and a sweet note, which meant so much to us. Such a wonderful experience overall, and now our home is filled with love, laughter, and lots of snuggles.

They are extremely flexible with scheduling of volunteering and there are many different types of fostering opportunities. They provide food, supplies, veterinary care, and any other items your foster dog may need. Your contribution is the home and time. They also have a coordinator that matches you with a dog/cat that will match your lifestyle or situation such as small apartment spaces or other pets/kids. The coordinator is extremely communicative and prompt. Another great option is temporary foster for when long-term fosters go on vacation or when certain animals need a foster home if the kennel is full. This is a great opportunity to do a trial run on fostering or if you can't make a longer commitment. I have fostered several dogs from this rescue and make a monthly contribution when I can't house another pup. I continue to be inspired by their amazing work. Lauren shares many videos about the very real situations and struggles of being a rescue.
