My appointment included a thorough consultation, advice on posture and stretching, and of course, a massage/body work session (which included some assisted stretching that felt great). His technique includes good therapeutic pressure, communication, and a variety of modalities to get the best results. I had been dealing with ongoing lower back & hip issues after starting a new job and Kimo helped me get back on the path to recovery, balance and reducing pain. The only issue was completely out of his control - some loud traffic outside the studio where his office is located; but that's pretty typical in LA and I only barely noticed it. I've been having severe problems with my neck and shoulder pain for years, often to the point where I couldn't turn my head and at one occasion was unable to get out of bed. I've tried several chiropractors, physiotherapists and acupuncturists, providing no or only short lasting relief. I know that if I hadn't met Kimo I would still suffer from that excruciating pain and from being unable to turn my head or sit at a desk for a prolonged period of time.
