There are clear directions and paths that guide you to passport control and baggage claim. The restrooms are clean. I think I was mostly impressed with how quiet it was outside at the rideshare pickup point. The vehicles in this city mostly run on electricity. Even their public buses are 100% electric. It's just something that was very noticeable to us throughout our stay in Copenhagen. It deserves a mention. I can't really rate it higher than 4 stars since it was an arrival with no departure. We didn't stay at the airport long enough to experience what it has to offer. I'll update this review if we ever find ourselves at CPH again in the future.

I was lucky enough to be able to shop at LV in Denmark while I was there. When I purchased my item, my LV associate gave me the receipts and explained that I need to go to Global Blue Booth to get my tax refund. I said perfect, I have Pandora from Sweden to complete there as well. Fast forward to the airport. I found the Global Blue Booth fairly easy after completing airport security. I showed her my items and receipts. She said.. the LV is a bigger tier and must be stamped at Customs. She explained where to go but I didn't know the airport that well and got lost, plus I truly had to exit the airport to get to customs. I was scared, I asked about 10 employees and no one knew anything just go here and go there. That's all I could do was try. Another employee escorted me back to the Global Blue Booth and she took me to the exit. I then asked about 2 additional employees for the exact location of customs for the special stamp. They finally took me there. Customs looked at me and said you don't have to do this because she could see how frustrated I was. Then i explained to her that is part of the charm when you go into stores and why I decided to purchase in Denmark instead of the USA. She softened and said.. well, you are not alone. So many people have felt the same as you. I got my special stamp and headed back to security to reenter the airport. My boarding pass was denied and I had to go to another special line to see what happened. After I explained why I left the airport, The Special TSA agent said I need to go to the, "ticketing booth" to get a special stamp on my boarding pass. So, I tried to find that and it took a Delta Airlines helper to escort me to the ticket booth. I was pretty upset at this point. I received that special stamp and headed back to airport security again. Everything worked and I went into the airport again. I then had to go to Global Blue Booth again and she said how did it go.. I just did sign language, I was so worn down.. plus carrying all my luggage around. Then she processed it all and said you will receive your refunds in 3-5 business days. I then went to get inline for my passport review. The line was so long.. the entire process with Global Blue took 2 hours to complete because it's difficult to get completed. If it's your first time doing the paperwork and first time in this airport, it's tough. I barely made my flight while it was boarding. I was so stressed, I did end up in tears for about 3 minutes. It would be hard for me recommend this unless you're willing to be calm about it or read my long review and hopefully it'll give the next person a better idea of where to go, or what to ask. I do appreciate this reimbursement but at the same time I wished it would have been more streamlined. I truly wanted to people watch and eat my beautiful bakery items I purchased but unfortunately I wasn't able to do that at all. Thank you to the wonderful people who helped calm me down and especially Dallas... she gave me a tissue and truly cared. She made all the difference.

Copenhagen is quite large and has many public transportation options to get to the city including tram and train, which is 40 minutes away from the airport. The DOT app is helpful for navigating routes. There are machines to purchase tickets. The tram is not direct but comes more frequently and is located on level of terminals. The train is downstairs. The airport security is very strict with liquids in hand luggage so prepare in advance. Word to the wise: The train to the airport from the city can be very delayed so make sure you give yourself plenty of time. The most notable information is with regards to international flights if your EU flight is delayed. Provided that you use the same airline and are passing through Copenhagen on you're way to somewhere like the US, the airlines are aware and have systems in place. My flight had already boarded and the departure time was steadily approaching. With five minutes to spare, I was very concerned about catching the flight particularly as gate E124?was through an additional security passport checkpoint and the line was 50+ people deep. The security staff was notified about the delayed flights and opened a line solely for us late travelers. We were told not to worry - they were waiting for us. I believe they also waited for our luggage to be transferred to the plane. Protip: according to a local, if you do miss your flight due to delay or cancellation, there are ways to receive a financial allowance for the hassle.

The ferry felt more like a mini cruise, with bars, restaurants, a duty-free shop, and even live music onboard. We grabbed a drink and hung out on deck, and it made the trip feel like part of the vacation. Cabins are basic but clean. Don't expect luxury, but it's comfortable enough for a night's rest. The boarding and check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly throughout. If you're traveling between Norway and Denmark, this is a scenic, relaxed alternative to flying. Bonus points for the Fjord views and the relaxed onboard vibe.

I intentionally planned my 2 days in Denmark around this area, with my hotel and the sites I wanted to visit within walking distance. The current station building opened in 1911, with a major overhaul in 1980 including elevators, escalators and a new station concourse. It has 7 platforms and 13 tracks, making it the largest train station in Denmark. With 100,000 travelers per day, it is the second busiest in the country. Getting to it from the airport required taking the M2 line, transferring at Kongens Nytorv to the either the M3 or M4 line to get here. The journey took a little over 30 minutes, and the trains were relatively crowded on both the inbound and outbound. The cost was (30,00 DKK - $4.69 USD converted) for the one way. There are no gates of any sort, and I didn't see any security doing ticket checks. Read on-line that fines could be substantial. Since the trains to the airport run so frequently, didn't have a chance to admire/partake of the station. On my next longer visit, will linger a bit more.
