We just spent 3 nights in Copenhagen and took taxis on 3 occasions. To and from the airport we had excellent experiences with seasoned drivers who were polite and took direct routes. I tracked the drives on google maps. But on our last night in town we took a taxi for what should have been a quick drive. The driver was an jerk and drove allover although he had a gps in his car. Please see map below that shows his route. This 1 mile drive ended up costing me $15 after the driver volunteered to reduce the charge by 10%. read more

Sometimes you get great drivers and sometimes you get bad ones. Coming into town after a year away, this guy was super nice and we talked about a lot of things. It made for a much more enjoyable trip back knowing that I was greeted in a friendly manner. Doesnt save on how expensive it is here but it's better than the NYC attitude of cabbies! read more

This was the taxi company our hotel called to take us to the airport yesterday morning. The call was for 5AM and the driver was early. As seems typical of Copenhagen drivers, even the jerk who dropped us in the middle of the street in front of our hotel, he was a courteous and careful driver. We arrived at the airport in plenty of time. read more

Dantaxi was great! I was in a couple of their taxis while in Copenhagen and had great experiences! Their taxis were very clean and well kept. Of course, the ride was nice, because they drove Audis and Mercedes. It's a different experience compared to America's cheap feeling Fords and Toyota Prius. The destination prices were fair and I didn't feel ripped off! The cab drivers were very nice and very safe drivers. They defiantly liked taking about their city and country! One driver took a special pleasure in pointing out bad drivers while we were in traffic! (Although he did some of the things he pointed out, himself...). I would definitely recommend taking one of them if they are parked or driving nearby! read more
