If you're a black person, please avoid this place for your own safety. Their agent, Katherine…read moreMcGathey, refused to allow us to speak to the manager, Simo Najib, after many failed requests due to her failing to fix an error that could've led to my husband being arrested for having the wrong vehicle on his insurance policy. An admitted error on their part, that they charged us for and refused to refund. Rather than take accountability and professionally assist my husband, she makes allegations that he was threatening her despite cameras being in the office to prove otherwise. My husband had to call the police to protect himself the moment she began acting as if she was in danger. Rather than conduct a thorough investigation, my husband was asked to leave the premises and informed he was banned from the premises. In order to remain compliant, he left because we all know what happens to a black man when a white woman speaks to the cops in tears. Despite our best efforts to file a complaint with State Farm, we receive a notice on 12/14 informing us that we were banned from all State Farm Offices. Additionally, we receive new policy cards dated 12/6 (date of incident) and another letter of due payment for 12/28. Please explain how someone who felt threatened managed to still process a new policy for someone banned and is expecting payment. The link below provides a detailed explanation with proof of wrong doings. Katherine's unprofessionalism and lack of accountability has led to my husband being humiliated and belittled. I can't speak on other races but black people beware and choose a different agency. https://twitter.com/dameafrican/status/1607898277114183683?s=46&t=hXwPYMRGLY9ALpBMS-rqKg

I just started 2 home owners insurance policies on investment properties with Sarah (although my…read morecontact person has been Melissa). The rates quoted were cheaper than all state and the other agencies I shopped. Melissa's email response time has been unparalleled and I'm optimistic everything will remain super smooth. State Farm is also nice because they do 1 mil in liability insurance--a lot of other agencies only do $500k. Not much difference in the price on the premium but good piece of mind for an out of state investor. I will update if any issues arise!

We have had them for 13 years. A few years ago they tried to take the monthly bill out of my…read moreaccount. I should have called them to inform them that I got paid 2 days later, to "hold off till the money was in the account". I did not, and that is on me. However, they cancelled my services without even letting me know, or sending it through again the next day, nothing! I was driving without insurance for 3 months before I realized the problem. At that point I was ready to take my business somewhere else, but most companies wanted to charge more because we didn't currently have insurance. Reluctantly, I signed back up for State Farm, and have had rate increase after rate increase for the last 2 years. (even though I saw a news article about how state farm lowered current customers bills by 2%) Then, another rate increase. I could not get anyone to answer the phone at Sarah's office, nor return a call within a reasonable amount of time. The only time I got a hold of someone is when I called the actual State Farm customer service number. Then, magically, they would answer, and transfer the call to my local office for me. Almost as if they were screening my calls at the local office. Renee Stillabower worked there a few years back, and we never had any issues with her. Upon this last increase, we looked her up and amazingly, she still does insurance. We reached out to her, she got us a quote with another company...and bam...better insurance, lower price. On top of all of that, we know, Renee will always take care of us...we are in good hands now.
