I got into a disagreement with her while I was there, as she must have assumed I was some wide eyed simpleton who had no idea about real estate. She advised me not to bother putting in a low offer as they had already turned down 4 offers of $1.3 Million each). She further informed me that the Kelowna market was incredibly hot right now and that many homes are in multiple offer situations. When I brought up the fact that the single family home market is down more than 60% compared to January 2022, she said that was only because the market was so hot last year. She failed to mention that this was the second worst start to a year in Kelowna's history (2009 being the worst). She also advised me not to bother putting in a low offer as they had already turned down 4 offers of $1.3 Million each).

They offer no advice or assistance or seem to know nothing about the Societies Act of BC, the legislation that applies to us. Ask a question, the response is call a lawyer! Anything they do besides answer an owner's email is charged xtra. Even their accounting dept screws up. They won't accept cc or cash payments over the phone or at their offices. Slow to respond, lack of knowledge and 'nickle & dimed' to death. Not a great service provider.

Darryl Scott is a very junior strata manager, comes across as all knowing but has to be corrected on most of his actions or lack of actions. To many issues to mention. Our strata has gone through 7 strata managers with APM all worse then the next. It is unfortunate that our frustrations are with APM, however, I think it is a more systemic problem with Property Managers who do not follow the SPA and managers/owners who do not want to correct or confront the strata manager for fear of loosing an employee. stone sisters disappointment despite previously read reviews. we bought a a home listed by them and…read morethe communication and service was shocking. we bought from out of province, and our realtor who has been consistant amazing for 2 years, received minimal response during the process, and the listing agent took off for closing and possession without letting our realtor know or even arranging keys, its as if she forgot she had a closing! she failed to communicate certain important details with their client resulting in unwanted junk left behind specifically requested to be removed. thankfully our realtor worked her butt off to keep things moving and as trouble free as possible but i know it was above and beyond, her having to make up for the listing agents lack. after possession we had a run in with a family member of the seller who (gave to remove unwanted items) who confirmed they also had issues and were unhappy, the realtor even no-showed a couple of their viewings prior to us. when concern was expressed to one of the owners of stone sisters, it was left unacknowledged. we are really disappointed in the lack of care and wouldn't recommend.

I particularly enjoyed being able to call, text, or email her and receive a response within 24 hours (typically within 1-2 hours). She collaborated very fluidly with the sellers agent, getting answers to our questions quickly. We can be challenging clients because we're not afraid of asking the tough questions. In addition, we negotiated hard... which could have been frustrating for Katherine but she seemed to handle it with ease. With Katherines help we were able to get 20% off initial asking price. We (if she'll have us) will be using Katherine on future deals.
