Second she has so much experience and really knows the in and outs of accounting. Also she doesn't beat around the bush with you. She will always give it to you straight up. She stands behind her work and her clients. You can tell her clients are high priority and she takes pride in what she does. Tammy's been my accountant for years now and I'd never go anywhere else. Also there are just some things people shouldn't do on their own like surgery, dentistry, brokering inspections and taxes without the proper schooling and tax software only gives you the forms not the laws. So don't gamble with your refund or the IRS and get someone who knows what they're doing like Tammy!

This review is long overdue! I can't say enough wonderful…read morethings about Hurliman CPA and their incredible team. I've been using their services for the past two years, and I truly couldn't be more grateful. I work across three states and run an Airbnb business--so my tax situation is far from simple. From the very beginning, they've been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to helping me manage both business and personal bookkeeping. Most recently, I referred my fiancé to them. He had six years of complex, unresolved back taxes due to past circumstances. Nick and the team not only helped him get fully caught up and in good standing with the IRS--they also managed to secure a significant refund, which was a huge blessing. Nick and Karla even meet with us annually to go over our financial goals and tax planning before the season begins, which gives us so much peace of mind. The entire team--Karla, Maggie, Sarah, and Karen (who is truly a Godsend)--has been consistently patient, responsive, and proactive. No question is too small, and every concern is handled with urgency and care. It's rare to find a team that is both incredibly competent and genuinely kind, but that's exactly what you get with Hurliman CPA. If you're looking for an accounting team that's trustworthy, efficient, and goes above and beyond--look no further. They have earned my complete trust and deepest gratitude. Thank you for everything!

Hurliman CPA did as I asked, completed and filed my tax return. Their communication and…read moreresponsiveness was extremely poor. No one explained the process or expected timelines to me. I wrote several emails asking for the status of my return or what to expect and at times got no response. Once they finished my return, I got an email with instructions and asking for payment, and a one liner at the bottom to reach out if I wanted to talk with the accountant. It took multiple calls, voicemails and emails to finally get an accountant on the line. Then after I paid, it took a couple more emails to get them to send me a docusign so they could submit my taxes. Finally, they never confirmed they filed my taxes, I ended up going to the IRS to confirm. Did as they were asked but communication was terrible.
