Where do i start... our wedding was June 26th 2015. We paid for DJ, Video, and photography…read moreservices. At first I was looking forward to working with Troy as blesst was a black owned business and i preferred to do business with my own people. We went through the process of securing their services for our eventand provided a down payment. We call back a few days later to provide the track list for ceremony and he could not remember out wedding date so i reminded him of the date he says that they have another wedding that day but it wouldn't be an issue as he would make it work.  I asked Troy to attend the rehearsal at the property the day before so that we can go over everything. Troy advised me they were familiar with the Vines Mansion property and therefore there was no need for him or his team to go attend our wedding rehearsal. They showed up just in time and Troy corned me and demanded that we provide the remaining of what was owed prior to setting up otherwise they would leave. We had already provided a non refundable deposit. So we went ahead and paid the rest.  Blesst services showed up UNPREPARED . They did not have the tracklist i emailed them just days before. I had to resend the email moments before the ceremony was to begin. One of the tracks A audio clip of my deceased grandfather was PLAYED at the WRONG TIME. They NEVER TOOK ANY PICTURES OF THE BRIDE ALONE IN HER WEDDING DRESS.  After the ceremony and after being reintroduced during the reception as the new Mr and Mrs i asked Troy to allow my wife to change into her reception outfit then we can do our first dance and he said ok. As soon as i turned around he made an announcement to get everyone attention and called us back to the floor for our first dance. By this time i am visually upset but my wife said to just go with it so we did.  After not hearing back from Troy for 4 weeks after the wedding we reached out to see what the progress was of our video and pictures. He told me it was still being worked on. A few days later he sent me a link to the rough draft of our wedding video. We told Troy there were a lot of areas of the audio needed to be improved (A lot of static). We provided the names of wedding party in the order of which they came down the isle in the ceremony. A week later Troy sent us a link of the final video for us to sign off on. There still were some static and hissing in the audio but he assured us it would be fixed by time he mails us out our wedding dvds which includes video and pictures.  It took another 4 weeks and still the video was not as polished as he said it would be. Still has hissing and static. Also very disappointed the bride has no pictures in her wedding dress alone.  My experience with Blessed services was poor from the start all the way to the end. I WOULD NOT AND CANNOT IN GOOD FAITH RECOMMEND BLESST EVENT SERVICES IN ANY COMPASITY. Which IS VERY DISAPPOINTING as i usually have good experience doing business with other black professionals. Their service was terrible!

Look no further than the videos they made for our wedding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRx5lcNXmdA&list=PLrr0d7WQIs3zYGvkIWkiihoFhVHPfCqfg&index=1. The videos on their YouTube channel are really all you need to see to get a feel for their quality of work and to see if their style is the right fit for you: https://www.youtube.com/c/WedFlix. WedFlix produces classy, high-quality, cinematic videos. We were very pleased with WedFlix and recommend them. Admittedly, our first choice for videography was Justin Peay Productions. He's from Statesboro, just like my wife. Unfortunately, Justin wasn't available for either our initial wedding date in 2020 nor our final wedding date in 2022. It just wasn't meant to be. If I recall correctly, Justin Peay was significantly more expensive than WedFlix. We originally signed a contract with and made an initial payment to WedFlix in 2019, so we got 2019 pricing in some regard. COVID ultimately delayed our wedding for two years. We initially purchased the "Mom's Choice Videography Package" for $2,800. Mom's Choice came with 8 hours of coverage (first look through send-off), 2 videographers, drone footage, a 4-7 minute highlight video (trailer), and a full 25-40 minute video including interviews (if we wanted interviews; we declined that option), first look, the ceremony, speeches/toasts, the cake cutting, and dances (first dance, mother-son dance). Our full wedding film actually clocked in at over an hour, due mainly I think to my dad's long "toast." In addition to the above, the film included nice montages of scenes from our cocktail hour, reception dancing, and send-off. We had to move our wedding twice due to the pandemic. First, from 2020 to 2021. Second, from 2021 to 2022. Due to the unprecedented nature of the pandemic, our venue and all of our vendors did not charge us for the first date change. However, we did start getting dinged for the second date change, which was understandable. WedFlix charged us $300 for the second date change. Later, my wife and I decided to add an Instagram Video to our package for $150. The video is a one-minute highlight trailer designed for Instagram and other social media platforms. Weeks before the wedding, when filling out WedFlix's questionnaire to better tailor their video to our vision (very important), they gave us an option for a "Drunken Interviews Edit." This is where they interview wedding guests during the reception for marriage advice and "words of wisdom." I thought it would be funny so I added it onto our package for $200. To me, our guests were a very important part of our wedding. The Drunken Interviews Edit was a good way to showcase them. In the end, the final total cost we paid to WedFlix for everything was $3,450. We loved all of the videos we received from WedFlix and thought everything from WedFlix was totally worth it. They captured the best day of our lives so far and we will cherish the videos they made forever. Out of all of the videos WedFlix made for us, our favorite is the wedding trailer: https://youtu.be/qCchwS6dAZs. It perfectly and beautifully sums up our wedding day in 5 minutes. Such outstanding work. We couldn't be more happy with it. If I had to nitpick, our final wedding film did not come out perfect. The two main issues were: (1) There was no footage of the bridespeople coming down the stairs at the reception. Admittedly, I think that was a function of our large, unique ceremony venue and there being only two videographers and three cameras covering the ceremony. (2) The audio sounded blown out during several parts of our reception. It was hard to understand the MC. I let WedFlix know and they were able to create a second version of our full wedding film which corrected the issues. However, a new issue arose as a result - the second version of the film had a slight echo in the music during our cake cutting. The echo couldn't be corrected, so I asked WedFlix to create a *third* version of the film that combined the best audio from both the first and second versions. I appreciated that they did all that to make sure we were happy with the final product. WedFlix's turnaround time was fast. During a busy wedding season/year (spring/2022), all of our videos were ready in only 18 days from the day of our wedding. Thank you, Ethan, Sarah, and WedFlix for telling our story in such a beautiful and incredible way.
