I finally decided to head to this business after seeing they scan your foot as part of the process. I am so happy to have gone here! They scanned my feet and also studied the way I walked. I was helped by Elle who was kind and professional. She recommended a 3D foot insole as well that would be specific to the data found on the scan. All in all 10/10 experience and I'm hoping the insole helps with the issues I've been having as I have ramped up my fitness routine. It's great that they have a 30 day return policy just in case it doesn't work out (but fingers crossed!). As far as cost, the shoe seems pretty standard at about 150$. The 3D printed insole is about 120$. Overall, I am very hopeful that this will work due to all the data they gathered. Fingers crossed!

The gal who fitted me did an excellent job even though I am not an athlete, I am not super young, and was in unbearable pain. If you are hesitant- go here, they respectfully assess your feet and gait using a step technology then fit you with what works. I will never go to another store, this is the place. My feet require surgery with screws and all and a year later I am walking comfortably (never thought I would say that!). Spend the little extra on custom insoles- it is SO worth it.

I know of this store existence since I've moved to Bonney Lake. I guess the main reason why I…read moredidn't check it out then is because I obviously haven't ran long-distance in over 3 years, and I just didn't think I'd need a pair of expensive shoes. Anyway, I happened to read a post from my community Group on Facebook about "a progressive sale event" happening through Presidents' Day weekend. I decided to check it out. It's a specialized shoe store, so this isn't DICK'S Sporting Goods Store. The sales associates will actually greet you and assist you if you need to fit any of their shoes. Don't get me wrong... if you're an avid runner and / or need great walking shoes, you should just open up your wallet in order to protect your feet and to feel good while exercising, you know? Let's just say I've gotten heck great deals on the merchandise. I've purchased a pair of Brooks Ghost Running shoes for 40% off, and other running gears for 50-65% off. It's A DEAL! I'm coming back there today in order to get couple more stuff before they'd end their sales event.

They stated they would address my concerns in upcoming training and stated they did have some new employees who might have handled things better. I fully understand having new employees and am happy to allow some grace there. I appreciated the effort and them reaching out. If the employees at large adopt the customer service attitude of the individual who contacted me I think shopping with them will be a far more welcoming, efficient, and professional experience. I upgraded the review in part because of that, but also, in part because they do mobile fittings for studios who can't always get to the shops up in the city and I do hope they stay in business and are able to continue to provide this service to outlying areas, and, as I stated in my previous review, they have shoes on hand in most cases which is extremely valuable in dance and this area as a whole. I wish them well in continuing to improve and providing excellent service in the future.

I drove by this place for many years but I never thought to visit until recently. I was looking to…read morebuy Hoka shoes because I have a planned trip coming up that will require a lot of walking. I also never thought about investing in a walking shoe before but now that I am older and I feel the aches and pains that is my body, investing on a pair of good waking shoes would probably help me out. Normally, I would have purchased my shoes at the mall but as I drove past Althea's, their front advertised Hoka's. Since I was always curious about this establishment, my husband and I decided to visit. Keep in mind that this shoe store isn't your run of the mill shoe store. They specialize in orthopedic and diabetic shoe wear. Many of their clientele are referred by doctors. First off, customer service was great! They are really knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I think everyone who worked there acknowledged us when we first entered, though we didn't get assisted until about 5 minutes in because they were all with customers. The staff who assisted me was Bill. I didn't feel at all pressured to buy from him although I had a feeling he knew I was set on buying Hokas. He let me try on two models. They didn't have the color I wanted so Bill offered to get it ordered for me with no additional/reservation charge. One week after our visit, I got my Hokas and I've been in shoes heaven since. Parking is plentiful which is always a plus! Their hours are Monday to Fridays, closing at 5pm. I really wish I went in sooner to support this business! I will definitely recommend this place.

The class offered by Running Stitch Fabrics was taught by Malinda Shirley. Malinda is a great teacher with an infectious positive energy, a lot of patience and knowledge. She brought a lot of samples and projects she has made. It was exciting to see the possibilities of incorporating sashiko into tote bags, quilts, placemats, etc. The quilt shop carries a wide assortment of notions, sashiko supplies, fabric, patterns, books and more. There are quite a few quilt samples hanging on the walls and on display in the windows. There is a long arm machine that you can rent after taking a basic longarm class or they offer long arm services. The owner Alice and her staff are very nice. I highly recommend Running Stitch Fabrics.
