We called Shuswap Chiropractic in Salmon Arm. The receptionist spoke to Dr. Kristen Coke, conveyed our urgency and she told us to come in. 10 minutes later, we pulled into the parking lot, and we were shown directly into a treatment room. Like on TV, one minute later Dr. Coke came into the room, sat down on the exam table next to my wife and observed how she was holding her shoulder and intuitively knew what to try to alleviate the pain. Two minutes later, the tears stopped, pain was at bay and we were complementing Dr. Coke on her beautiful 80 year wood floors and the free flowing office design. Prior to this experience I didn't think there could be a real Chiropractic emergency, but we had one for sure. Dr. Coke helped us with great expedience, compassion, and expertise. If you are there with an injury you are expected to be dressed and or undressed in less than 10 seconds. I had a number of apointments that day including three at the office. 1 for massage, 1 sauna, and 1 with chyropractor. When i came from the steam room i was told that i had missed my chyropractic appointment. She set the sauna to 1 hour, instead of half an hour and did not see fit to walk down the hall to tell me my time was up. Apparently, while in the same building u are supposed to keep your own time. She was rather angry with me, when i told her she could have knocked on the door and snottily told me that there was a clock on the wall and i should learn to use it. I cannot speak for all the masseus's in the place but i would not see Jenna. She is brutally agressive. She recommended a treatment that she knows nothing about, in my case a cleanse. Being familiar with cleanses i inquired of what type she felt was nessisary in my case and she showed no knowledge of product or what type of cleanse i needed. I have been to her for 3 massages. The first one went well the 2 after i felt more pain than i did when the injury first occured. When i complimented her about the first one she came defensive, when it was meant as a compliment. She said well what did you think would happen!
