We then got to the counter where he and another staff member, Lucinda, started aggressively and very confusingly trying to explain "the law" to us, that because my brother and i were simply in the shop with our mum, they wouldn't sell her a nearly $100 bottle of Grey Goose vodka, as there was "suspicion we were taking part in the decision making". As they clearly didn't know what they were talking about, they dug their grave so deep they let loose that it is 100% up to the staffs discretion whether or not they could to mum. These two staff members were incredibly rude, patronising, and frankly had no idea what they were talking about.
