Even though I was on the third floor, they got everything done in an hour. As I was in the process of moving out of my apartment I had an unusual favor to ask & they were kind enough to help me move the fridge & unplug it. Phenomenal service & the apartment smelt amazing! We asked them to evaluate an antique wool rug from Pakistan for mold remediation and cleaning. They responded fast and came to the house. They told us the rug was not salvageable. Approximately one week later we had Like New Carpets give an estimate and they said they could clean it. We are doing all this remotely for a family member's house. This company did a great job on our carpets and area rugs!! We were beginning to see traffic patterns on our carpets, and area rugs. They did a great job, our carpets look and feel like new! They were very careful with all the equipment they used. They put guards around all walls and furniture that the hoses would rub against. Plus made sure the others floors were protected also. They had fans that they let blow for almost 30 minutes after cleaning to help dry the carpet. We are very happy with their service and will use them again. These guys were great, i hadn't had my carpets cleaned in a while, they came out within a couple days, carpets look great, but it's the extra effort they provided that i found really impressive and makes them stand out, they put a cover on the front door so the A/C would not escape, they wore booties, they took the time to put corner guards up so the hose would not damage the walls, they put plastic under chair legs on the carpet to stop staining. I just recently moved out of a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house that was almost all carpet except for the kitchen and bathrooms. My roommate and I had lived there for two years, so there was naturally a lot of stains from traffic, drink spills, and whatnot. My cat, who is a big fan of coughing of hairballs, also left his signature on parts of the carpet. After toying around with the idea of just renting our own carpet shampoo thingee, we eventually decided that we would need professionals if we were going to make the place as presentable as possible upon moving out. After poking around online, I settled on Dan, Dan The Carpet Man. While the name was funny to me, the pricing looked very reasonable and the company had received some glowing reviews. We weren't able to get our furniture completely out of the house until almost the last day, so our options were limited. Fortunately, DDTCM had availability for us. As you know, moving can be heavy on the wallet considering security deposits, moving vans, application fees, etc, so affordability was a key factor in our decision to hire DDTCM. We went with the most basic package, the Good Samaritan Package. It included emulsifier, disinfectant, steam cleaning, and pile rake. At 25 cents per square foot, this seemed like a great deal. And it was! The technician arrived right in the window of expected arrival time. He was friendly, personable, non-judgmental, and knowledgeable. We went through each room of the house, and he explained how he would tackle each area. He did inform me about an upgraded package, but I didn't feel like he was trying to upsell or force anything on me. About 2 hours later, he was done, and I was quite pleased with the result. The carpet went from, "Well, that's been down a few dark roads" to "would think it was new if I didn't know any better"! The technician explained to me everything he did and also gave me some advice on better ways to clean up pet stains (Pro-tip: Don't bother with Resolve. Use hydrogen peroxide). I was extremely pleased with the results, and I would not hesitate to recommend DDTCM to anyone who needs carpet cleaning service. read more

We've used him twice now for our personal home and we are thrilled with the results. We had a tough problem -- 2 large dogs who track in dirt, and a turmeric spill. They couldn't guarantee the turmeric removal. It is a known dye from India. The tech who came was super nice and very knowledgeable. All dog dirty spots were completely removed, and from where I sit now I can't see the turmeric stain. read more
