The Danish understand and speak English as well as German, so no language issues. t ambience. Weather was okay. Blåvand is a typical Danish village on the west coast of south Jutland (650km of Groningen -NL). Legoland (Billund) is an hour drive of Blåvand and is really fantastic for children and parents. Arhus in the north east of Denmark has a very nice open air museum called Den Gamle By in witch you can see and experience how people lived during several centuries in Denmark until the 1970's. Fantastic for all ages. In Ribe nearby Kolding you can visit the open air Viking museum. See and experience who these Vikings were. They were not at all the vicious pirates of the North we learned about in school, but trades men and travellers. Enjoy Denmark as we do each year.

The house was very clean and fulfilled most expectations on a one week vacation. Pool was better…read morethan expected, large warm and clean. Wifi was working most of the times, even for 5 users. Kitchen utilities were sufficient for 2-3 uses for all of us, so dishwasher had only be used once a day. Refrigerator was full of water when we moved in, but after we cleaned it deeply it worked well. Kids playground was in really bad shape and garden chairs were broken. In the backyard really nothing was done or is maintained or cleaned. Finally we are awaiting the water and power usage. As of the reader we used 18m3 water in 7 days, this is almost 10 times of what we use at home. If we wouldn't have said anything, we would have been charged 120 EUR for water/week. So make sure you check water at the beginning and during the days. No reason to not come back, but room for improvement.
