Great costumer service and very knowledgeable in what they do. My daughter needed SMO braces so I had originally gone to hanger clinic in w. Covina as it was the closest to my house but it was horrible. I was not about to go back to them again. I came to Damar but was kind of reluctant because it is far from where I live. Damar is hands-down one of the best orthotics and patient support companies I have ever taken my mom to. They are always very gracious when we arrive, and very helpful until you depart. You get to peek through the workstation window as you head to the fitting rooms and you can see the mastery of how they build and custom fit the orthotics and prosthetics for the patients that have been referred to them. My mother had a stroke that affected her left side, both arm and leg, and we continue to use Damar for The prescription shoes that fit over her her orthotic when she is wearing it to support her ankle that no longer flexes. I recommend Randy, Craig, and the rest of the crew at Damar for any of your prosthetic, orthotic, or ambulatory needs to be moving to those activities in life for daily living and for enjoyment. read more

Randy and staff was so helpful and informative . Having to wear an "armored vest made of heavy padding, metal, straps and strings" for 12 weeks with serious mobility issues after back lumbar fusion and a thoracic vertebra fracture with bilateral keg braces to help walk in the sweltering heat brought me to a low point after years with Jaisee spine surgery, orthopedics, pain management and physical therapy. Being a high fall Rushmore, I try to be careful but had two recent falls. Randy issued be an improved, wearable torso vest and explained how to adjust and wear it. Randy and the staff have been so nice to me since I had my Stroke anytime I have a problem with my brace he takes me right away

fraudulent vendor. horrific experience. avoid at all costs. paid by kaiser yet did not provide shoes. paid by kaiser yet would not replace 5 sets of ill-fitting inserts. randy & carol did not return e-mails or phone calls. damar dragged this saga on for over a year. due to damar's negligence, disregard, disdain and utter unprofessionalism i'm still weariing shoes and inserts negatively impacting my foot health. would not even respond to intervention by dme. undeserving of even one star. read more

Several years late in this review. Changed to Damar Medical as it was closer to where I was going to be. I order custom arm and hand garments for lymphedema. Laurie Back tried talking me out of what I wanted and had been wearing for years. A few weeks later, she told me Kaiser wouldn't approve my garments. That was NOT true. I think she refused to order what I wanted. Switched back to my other fitter, and Kaiser approved what I wanted. Laurie felt she knew what was best for me and didn't care what I wanted. Normally they are pretty good at getting my shoes and inserts back in a reasonable time, but Kaiser sent my new order to them and it took over 2 months to get a answer as to where my order was, the shoes were in but the inserts supposedly were made wrong and had to be remade. I was told that they are to be shipped overnight but here we are 2 weeks later and still nothing, I complained but it seemed to be ignored by several people in the office. As a wearer of a leg brace from polio, I was referred to Damar, from my doctor at Kaiser Permanente, across the street. When you have to wear and depend on a leg brace, to be able to walk and carry on with life's business, when something breaks, you need help right away.
