Even in the middle of summer with the sun bearing down, this mountain over Geiranger feels like the middle of winter. The snow never fully melts, even though it feeds the waterfalls that run down to the fjord. The view from the lookout point is astounding and goes all the way down to the town and fjord. Standing at the top feels like the top of the world with everything below. The journey up here can be thrilling with hairpin turns and narrow roads, but the view is certainly worth it. read more
