One of our trailer tires blew while we were hauling our big pontoon boat. Usually we would have a spare but we had JUST used it 2 days prior on the weekend for the other tire. My husband was stuck in a curve taking up half the lane so I took the rim and drove to Dallas Tire. It was their lunch break when I pulled up but Reagan came to our rescue. He got our new tire put on the rim and I was able to get it back to my stranded husband before an accident happened. If you need more than air in your tire bypass this business. I needed front end work done cause my son bounced the car off a curb. Went to Dallas tire and showed them pics they said no problem they can handle it. I had my car towed there. When car arrived they would not accept the car cause they did not have the skills to fix what they said they could. Their poor customer service and false statements of capability cost me over $600 in towing fees. When I confronted them they really didn't care that they screwed up. read more

I've purchased tires with them a few times, as well as had my brakes replaced and been happy with their service and prices each time. I went today to have them check a couple of my tires I purchased from them previously that were running low. They were extremely quick in repairing both tires (somewhere along the way I'd driven over nails) and they rotated them as well. Much to my surprise, since I purchased the tires with them, they didn't charge me to repair them. In every experience I've had with them, they've always been courteous, on top of things, and fair in pricing. Completely disgusted. Had Dallas Tire do an alignment and install two new tires on my Suburban back in September. I had just purchased the vehicle and made some repairs. Lower Ball joints, upper control arm bushings, and a pittman arm, so it needed to be aligned. One of the service managers test drove it and saw the wheel was off center, brought it back into the bay and I watched the tech make the toe adjustment without putting it back on the alignment machine. When I left, it still was not centered and it wandered a little. I decided to live with it. Recently I noticed abnormal tire wear, and then this weekend pulled into a parking space and heard a loud noise. The control arm cam bolt was loose. So I dropped it off this morning with a detailed note of what was going on. Got a call a couple hours later, the sales person told me it would require ball joints before performing an alignment. I reminded him of the control arm being loose and he said they would put it up on the rack and look at it. Here is where they lost me.... how did they shake down the front end and find a worn ball joint but not the control arm that was flopping around? He calls me back 4 hours later said they tightened the bolt, and when I got the ball joints they could perform an alignment. I picked up the truck, and checked them in my driveway. A wheel bearing a little loose (i'll repack them when I do the brakes) but nothing wrong with the ball joints. I will add here I was an ASE cert. technician for 17 years. I performed the above repairs myself. I just do not have access to an alignment rack. So I wanted to find a local shop to perform the repairs that I am unable to do at home. I called back and told him that I had checked them, found no problem, giving him one more opportunity to make this right. But he stuck to his guns, I again asked how he was able to find loose ball joints but not the loose control arm... They refuse to make good on a repair, insisting I need to spend more money before they can correct the alignment. Not to mention the irregular wear on these Michelins I purchased. $400 bucks down the drain! Thank you Dallas tire! read more

Over the past several years I have spent roughly $1300 here between tires and custom rims. Service has always been ok. However, I recently took my vehicle to Dallas Tire for a simple oil change. When I got my car back who ever had been in it had tracked dirt, etc. on the carpet and not cleaned it off. It would be easy to say I had tracked that in my car, but I am very particular about my vehicle and keep it very clean. I went back inside and asked someone if they would mind wiping it up to which they obliged. When I got home I noticed the receipt said they used "semi-synthetic" oil. I was told that ALL oil is now considered semi-synthetic and this is ALL they use at Dallas Tire because it is better. I sensed someone was lying to me or pulling my leg. So, I did some research of my own and was told by TWO MASTER MECHANICS this is a load of bull. The fact that Dallas Tire ONLY USES synthetic oil would have been nice to know up front before I got my oil changed. Not to mention it was $44 to have my oil changed. I was LIED to AND taken for a ride. Never again. read more
