Marco worked with me over the phone and discussed all the variables involved in detail and explained the process and fees associated. The prices were extremely fair and confirmed the move. On the day before the move Marco once again confirmed the move and on the morning of the move they called to advise us they were on their way. They arrived on time and brought the larger truck as I had ordered since we have extra "stuff" with all my children. We had boxed everything ahead of time and had most of it in garage but not all. They had the garage loaded in about 20 minutes. I was amazed at how quickly and delicately they got our washer and dryer from upstairs down to the truck. Everything was loaded in under 2 hours as Marco had suggested in the quote. The movers made it to the new house without incident and were quick actually beating us in our cars. They got everything moved into the new house without any issues and couldn't have been nicer and more efficient. They wrapped the items needing it and taped up drawers etc... I'm sorry I do not remember the names of the crew that did the move but they busted their butts with all our "stuff" and handled everything as promised... thank you Marco and your staff!! His attitude changed once he saw there was men around and that I was a female on her own. After I complained, the office kindly stopped answering the phone. These are the facts: I hired Carte Blanche Moving for my move and now I am missing $1000 cash from my home. Carte Blanche Moving (3 men) moved my belongings from one location to another. I fed them lunch as well as gave them each a tip for their work. Come to find that we are now missing $1000 cash. During the hectic rush of moving, we didn't have any furniture at of our new location and so we placed some items inside the towel closet which is located inside of the main bedroom's bathroom. The door to that towel closet door was closed. They had complete and unsupervised access while inside our home. No one has been inside the home aside from my wife and I. Fact: $2000 was inside the closet prior to them arriving. Fact: We are suddenly missing $1000 after they left. Once the Carte Blanche movers left, my wife opened that towel closet and grabbed the cash to deposit into her bank and immediately realized that there is now $1000 missing from the total original amount of $2000. No one else has been in the home or even had access to all the rooms in our home while left unsupervised/unattended. Looking back, it makes sense how I now find it odd that two of the movers (males/early 30's) remained outside for over 15 minutes after bringing down the last piece of furniture and I found it odd that they never even went back inside my home to thank my wife and I for providing them lunch. I called Carte Blanche Moving owner, Steve Belken, after realizing that I now had $1000 missing from my home. I made sure to tread lightly on trying to explain that I am now missing $1000 cash but that it was there during the move. As expected, we get his apology about the "misplaced cash", but he denies that his employees would ever do such a thing. He also says that I shouldn't have left valuables out in the open. Those were his words. And that his company is not liable for any theft as it says so in the contract that I signed. He says he "knows them" in which I had to interrupt and to remind him that one of the three movers was brand new as I saw another training him. I was honest and upfront with him and told him that I will be filing a police report with my local authorities. He understood that part and didn't seem to have an issue as police generally do nothing in these types of situations. However, as soon as I mentioned that I would also go online and leave reviews based on my experience working with Carte Blanche Moving, he quickly threatened me with legal action if I were to do such a thing by saying how this would "cost us both money so it's better not to do that" although I am the one who is out of $1000 dollars. BEWARE of using Carte Blanche Moving. Although I have no personal malice toward Steve Belken himself (as he was not the the one who came into my home and personally stole from me), but to justify that I should not have left anything of value out in the open and that it should have otherwise been locked away to avoid theft is not exactly comforting to home owners who hire his company/employees who have to come inside your home to move your personal belongings. Is this the company you really to do business with? A company who hires thieves and then takes no responsibility when things go missing. Now it feels as though we have been personally violated because Carte Blanche Moving set me up with dishonest individuals. I am not saying this will be your experience, but this was mine and it's very upsetting and troubling. Just be aware that if this happened to me dealing with Carte Blanche Moving, then this CAN HAPPEN TO YOU TOO. Prices were competitive and it looked like the quality was better than the Home Depot/Lowes parking lot samples. The owner, Kevin, was very helpful when he came out to measure placement within our property and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had several features we wanted to customize so this was not a standard "out of the box" build. An antique door and window from Craigs List and window panels from Lowes were no problem or added expense for his crew to put in to our specifications. All was done within one day. This summer when our falling apart fence needed to be replaced we checked with several other companies and DFW Shed & Fence. Pricing was all within the same range. Again, Kevin came out to measure and answer all questions and gave us options so we felt confident in using him again to build our new fence. The two man crew was quick and efficient with the tear down and stayed late that day to complete the new construction and clean up. Kevin also showed up that day to check on the work being done. In a few weeks after drying out, we will stain it ourselves. We are very please with the results for both the studio shed build and fence construction. A five star rating and we would use them again without hesitation.

I recently had a great experience with BungoBox and would recommend them for any move. I chose the…read more1 bedroom option to move my apartment and it was the perfect number of boxes. The boxes stacked well so it was easy for me to roll four stacked at a time, which was much more efficient than lifting cardboard boxes myself. Although I would recommend BungoBox, there are a few things they could have done to improve my experience: - I didn't end up using the larger boxes in the 1 bedroom option. Partially, because they didn't fit on the roller and it would have been difficult to carry them myself. The other reason was because one of them was very dirty inside. I felt comfortable packing my clean clothes in all the boxes except that one. I didn't think it was clean enough to put anything in it. - Since they don't pick up or delivery on Sundays, I had to book two weeks instead of one, as I was traveling during the week. I understand why this is, but the service would be even more convenient if Sunday was an option. - Both for my pick up and delivery they called to ask to change the time. I understand wanting to make the process more efficient if they'll already be in the neighborhood, but it would be nice to have more advance notice than the day before, as I had previously rearranged my schedule to be home during the specific windows.

You also don't have to worry about breaking the boxes down and figuring out a way to get rid of them...recycle? Give away? Trash? Save for later use? It's all done for you...simple and clean. Here's my reason for two stars...part of the service is delivery & pickup of the boxes. They absolutely failed at every aspect of this part of the service. My delivery was scheduled for between 10a & 12 on a Friday. 12 came and went...not a word...I called & emailed, finally got a return call. The guy didn't know what was going on...had to call me back...then changed the new delivery time to 2:30. 2:30 came & went...I called about 3, and he says he'll be there in 45 minutes. I get the boxes at almost 4....fine, done. Then came the pickup. Service comes with standard 7 day use...so I had it until the following Friday. Wednesday comes, I get a text saying they are picking up THURSDAY between 10 & 12! Ok! I called & emailed, telling them they have it wrong. No response. Thursday comes...11:30 a guy calls to say he's running late for pickups! They ignored my message. However...I was done with the entire deal...I told him he can pick up but needs to call me 30 minutes prior, since it's now on my time. Guy called me..."I'm 35 minutes away"....45 minutes later....he picks up. Again...great concept, I'd do it again, but there are competitors I'd try next time.
