He came to my home in Jeffersonville and was super friendly, gave his professional advice without being demanding, and was very obviously more concerned about my satisfaction than taking advantage of me. In the process, they cut some electrical wires for accent lighting under the tree (unbeknownst to us) and "repaired it". When we noticed all of the lights were not functioning, we called Red Oak (an AWESOME company who installed all of our exterior lights) and they repaired the cut wires that Glynn Young had created. I forwarded their very modest bill to Glynn Young who basically ignored it and when I called them today, informed me that they refused to pay because "it was in our contract that they aren't responsible". DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY! They don't take responsibility for things that happen that are their fault, even for good previous customers who have spent a lot of money with them! He seems to truly love and take pride in his work. I interviewed a number of contractors for our porch replacement project, and spoke with references. I have to admit I was a touch skeptical of the absolutely glowing reviews I heard from his references at first. (Were they family members? Would anyone give *my* work such glowing reviews other than my mom?) But after seeing him in action, I absolutely echo all those raves: Ryan is the gold standard. He is fantastically professional, meticulous, and detail oriented; he communicates clearly; and his pricing is on par with other contractors in the area. He says what he means and means what he says. We only have one porch on this house, alas, but Ryan is also an electrician and handyman.
