The shop was just opening for the day and the owner was outside arranging a "sale" table. When I arrived she treated me warmly and despite my level 2 French she was happy and helpful. I found her very helpful and lovely. I was looking for French made fabric to bring back home and make table linens ands she pulled bolts from the shelves, asked questions and before I left I had 2 fabrics that were unique, pretty, washable and made in France. The fabrics started at fairly high prices but she discounted them without my saying anything and I left happy.

The staff at the store was very friendly and helpful. He told me that it is a family business that his father started 20 years ago and all the silk products were made locally in their workshop. Also the back room of the store showed some old machines and accessories for silk weaving that was good to check out. It is a good place to get local gifts.
