Joey at Wrapability in Hartford is the biggest let down I've seen in a long time…read more My kids wanted to get the overlays in my Jeep wrapped in vinyl for my birthday. So they took it to Joey. He wrapped the pieces and it looked great....for a few days. Almost right away it started lifting on every single piece. He told us to bring it out there for him to look at. So we did, then he said he's never seen that before. He promised his accountant would get us a refund with no hard feelings. After a couple of months of not seeing this refund my husband went out there to inquire. Joey started yelling at him and telling him how we can't even take him to court because the total amount was under $500. I have a degree in legal assisting and knew this wasn't correct. So we went to court. He admitted receipt of the paperwork and didn't even show up to contest anything. Obviously we won as we have proof of all conversations and numerous pictures of what the vinyl did. He's still refusing to pay what he owes us. What's really sad is that he isn't even conducting himself in a positive way at all. This is why small businesses struggle so much. People with no integrity ruin it for everyone.

CAUTION - This shop is not a professional shop. I would give a negative rating if it was possible…read more We hired WrapAbility to wrap our food truck. There has been zero to no communication on their end. They keep pushing the completion date back. We had the design graphics done by a professional firm. They have tried blaming the quality of the graphics. This firm has designed over 500+ Food Truck wraps and the number one company in the industry. The owner told us up front the graphics look great (JULY 2023) We were excited as they are a small town shop located in my hometown. Their office is only a block away from my house. Deposit paid on July 24th. They scheduled us to start the project on August 9th. We were told 7-10 days. They even reached out to get in early if we were able to. Timeline of events: - Truck was dropped off on August 9th - August 18 - No work had been done on truck as it sat in their parking lot for a full week. We had other events we had to cancel due to their delay. After excuses. We had to pick up the truck and reschedule, as they were holding up a couple of our contractors and events. They told us they had everything printed and they just needed to install it. - August 28th - Truck was dropped off again. Owner told me it would be done by end of the week. (Shocker) end of the week came and went they ignored calls and messages. Than blame the holiday weekend. Tell us it will be done by end of 9/08 or the morning of 9/11 at the latest. - August 30th, Truck has been moved into their shop. (Progress as we hoped) - September 7th - tried to get ETA and follow up. No answer. - September 8th - Called and messaged no answers - September 10th - Messaged on facebook that we need to pick up the truck asap. September 10th - The house of lies falls apart. - Owner states it will take another full week to finish as the graphics are not print ready or quality. (How is this possible, he previously stated he already printed everything) - Owner now claims he has printed it twice and will be charging me for time and materials. We informed owner we would be by to pick up the truck on 9/11 as this has been the worst experience ever. He pleads for another week with the truck. (No chance) this has already costs us thousands of dollars and they can't keep their lies straight. I would avoid this company with all costs.

Turns out, it was a little more serious and the tire went completely flat about a mile out of town. As we pulled over to the side of the road, we figured it would be at least an hour before we could get roadside assistance. Before we could even attempt to call someone, we look up and see a huge truck pull up behind us. Turns out Jeremy and Josh from Stein Sign Display were our angels of the day. They immediately got to work, found our spare, and had us back on the road in 15 minutes! We couldn't say thank you enough. In this world, things like this just don't happen anymore. These 2 employees are incredible people, and represent their company so well! What a great culture Stein Sign Display must have to employee individuals that embody this kind of compassion for strangers! In a moment of frustration, this certainly reminds us that there are still wonderful people in this world. The act of kindness is truly powerful.

The manager lied to me 3 times about shipping something out, but every day would call with a lame excuse of why it wasn't shipped. DO NOT USE this company if you need something fast or just one of something. Meanwhile I've received 20 sales/ promotional emails from this company since placing order. I must be in a list now.
