Not sure what I missed or why they treated me so well, but my manicure was perfect. I have some challenges and a dog. I believe God whispers, and if you listen you are rewarded. I was driving down the road and noticed my nails needed to be done, look to the right and saw Daisy nails. So I stopped knowing that as a walk-in they could never see me, but thankfully I was wrong and they got me right in. Younglady layed right down and appeared very comfortable. They need to learn to do pedicures properly. They don't sterilize there things. It's got so many cob webs and dust it's disgusting. Worst pedicure I've ever had. Instead of sleeping on the job they should be cleaning that disgusting place. We will be going to a better place to get our toenails done. She didn't even cut them straight. Whenever I am in town, I take my 80 year old mom here for a mani-pedi. This time, I talked my 81 year old dad into going for a pedi, also. The techs were so very gentle with both of them. My dad, who has foot issues anyway, was treated so well, and his feet and nails look brand new! Both were treated so kindly, and they were both able to relax and enjoy themselves! read more

I took my daughter-in-law here to get a pedicure for both of us. The nail techs did a wonderful job! We got the deluxe pedicure, which includes a sugar scrub masage, a foot massage, a parafin wax treatment, a mask with hot towels, a hot rock message. They accomodated as walk-ins, though I would make an apptment if you can. We did this kind of spur of the moment. I think it was a bit much in price, but I admit I am used to DC prices where there are many salons to choose from, so this may just be normal for this area. I have been a loyal customer to this dirty little place for close to 2 years. I've returned because they've consistently done a good job on my nails! They lose a star for the surroundings, it is not spa like at all. There is absolutely nothing on the walls, the tv doesn't work, dirty fish tank, nothing relaxing at all. Lose another star for cleanliness. They have 2 nail brushes soaking in the bathroom that everyone is to use, I never used! Scrubbed mine prior to appointment. There is dirt & dust all in the windows & on the blinds, floor & anywhere you look. Lose another star for lack of customer service & friendliness or I should say, Lack thereof! Twice I've called to make appointment that they did not write down. The first time they worked me in, but still acted like I "just showed up" & they were doing me a favor. Today, they didn't have me written down even though I called 5-6 days prior. He asked what number I called & made me call, it rang as I was standing there. Offers no apology, can't work me in & does not offer to reschedule me! I explained I drive 45 miles one way to get there. NOTHING.... just went on about his business. I have been a good customer to him! He's the only one who's ever done my nails but once! I've always tipped generously and paid in cash as they charge 5% or more to use debit or credit card. Literally acted as though he'd never seen me in his life! As I don't have options where I live & poor reviews elsewhere, I'm going to grow these acrylics off & just do my nails at home. I've been coming here for over 2 years once a month. They always do a good job. You have to make an appointment and pay with cash unless you don't mind a fee for using a card. I broke a nail a week after getting the dips done and Julie squeezed me in and repaired it with no charge. That was pretty awesome! The only ding is ..... the staff rarely engages in conversation and even after 2 + years they still don't know my name. All in all good service and I will continue to support this business read more

I went into the salon to my regular technician, who I noticed skipped a step. I didn't say anything I was trying to be polite. I had my nails done for wedding I was going to New York. I had my nails done on 28 September we left on the 30th. On September 31 my nail broke, then a day later I noticed all my nail polish was chipping away at the tips. When I got back home I went in and had them redo all of my nails because I was going to a funeral. I had them redone on October 12 and October 13 my first nail broke. I went back and had them repair it when I got back home from my trip on October 18. Last night on October 18 another nail broke. I've now paid twice for a set of nails that should've last me a month. As I said I have a regular technician I see every month. I don't know what's going on with the salon but I think it's time for me to find a new one. I called them today and asked them to redo all of my nails because they just keep chipping. They said they would repair the one nail and that's it. read more

I went in this afternoon for a pedicure, I'm 9months pregnant and was looking to relax before I go into labor. Not only did the nail tech almost rip my entire pinky toe nail off taking off my old shellac, but he then claimed that my toe was already bleeding when I came in and they only offered to remove $5 off my service. My toes were perfect as I had a pedicure 2 weeks prior. I'm not a complainer but I will NEVER give this place my business again. He also didn't massage my feet for more than literally 10 seconds. I went to Daisy nails a few weeks ago and had a fairly good experience. My manicure and pedicure turned out great. We reserved time as it was for a wedding. The only downfall was that we had to wait a while because they cannot get us all in at the same time which we were not aware of when we reserved this time. I would definitely go back. It might just be nice if they could get some more help or maybe communicate that there might be a wait time but I would recommend this place. read more

Easily the worst manicure I've ever had, but the gentleman who did it was nice enough. Used a grinder to get my old gel off & OUCH, but didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude. The ends of my nails are all jagged and could have used a teensy bit more filing, but again, didn't want to be rude. The gel polish wasn't even close to the sample color, they're all a mess, bubbles, gel under the nail so my skin is sticking, uneven color, and my poor little pinky is mangled, but I didn't want to be rude Moral of the story, speak up and also go somewhere else because this is actually the second poor review I've left. I am posting a photo of my nail to their page -- you'll see my nail used to go up to the corner of my toe and now it does not. I got a pedicure this weekend and the guy started pulling on my toenail so hard and I said "Owww - okay that hurts really bad!!" and he didn't stop - he just ripped out a huge chunk of my nail! I was bleeding and everything. He said "Oh, that's good, it was ingrown," but it was a perfect nail!! Now I think it will probably grow in ingrown because so much of my nail is missing. I've had hit or miss appointments before, but this was just the beginning of a terrible appointment. Even when he painted my nails, several nails weren't even fully covered and he didn't use a top coat until I asked him to. The entire appointment was very uncomfortable and I don't recommend Daisy Nails -- it's not worth the risk of an ingrown toenail. Try somewhere else. read more

They were incredibly quick and very friendly, but now that it's been a few hours and I'm looking at my nails, they're sort of a mess. I got French tips in a plain ol gel manicure, and there's gel all over my fingers, underneath my nails causing the skin to stick, and they're shorter than I would have liked, but once my first nail was cut too short (after specifically saying sure file them down a little but not much) there was no going back. This was my first time, and I'll be shopping around for a new place to go next month for comparison. read more

Worst Experience!!! My sister and the bridal party was offered a bridal party discount and they overcharged us and was really rude, even worse that discount was only given to one person. I could barely understand the guy so when I wanted Acrylics I didn't get them at all. When I actually told him the mistake he said it'd be extra to get it done so I opted towards the cheaper route and after that he was pressing harder on my fingers to paint them. It was suppose to be $45 for me and my sister equalling to $90 with at least $15 discount being $75 and it was $120 for 2 people together. I happen to just walk in & got an appointment for mani-pedi. My girlfriend & I were on a day of pampering & they took us right away. The place was full of clients. Way too expensive! I paid $85 for a mediocre shellac manicure and a paraffin wax pedi. The young man who did my mani was very unfriendly and rude. I thought it might have been a language barrier but he spoke English. I don't know if the other patrons felt as unwelcome as me but I couldn't wait to get out of there. My advise, if you chance going there, is to get the cost up front and stick only to the prices quoted. After being overcharged and the unfriendly atmosphere , I've learned my lesson and wont be returning there. I can get much better deals with better customer service out of town. read more

If I could give it a negative star I would! I went there for eyelash extensions that were the cluster type for $50. The salon looked clean, I asked if she had experience doing lashes and she said yes. So I laid down on the table, she applied the tape to my lower lashes and she got started. An hour later, she finished and the cheap tape was stuck to my lashes! After fiddling around a bit and a few lost lashes later, it finally came off. Then my eyes started burning, I thought it was just from the glue she used and would go away in a few mins, but the burning lasted 3-4 hours! I couldn't drive home and had to have a friend drive me bc I couldn't see. My eyes were red and tearing. I saw my lashes which looked like really cheap ghetto lashes, not the lash by lash pretty extensions I wanted. They looked so fake! I have had this service about 20+ times so i know what they're supposed to look like. I just hope my eyes go back to normal asap. read more

I've gone to Daisy Nail 3 times so shame on me! My shellac chipped 4 days after getting them done. My healthy strong nails were filed down rather than soaking. The top of my nails would burn under the UV light because of the filing. Daisy nail stated they would repair my nail for a fee. (Not acceptable) Daisy Nails does not guarantee their work so obviously, I've received poor quality of service each time. read more

I made an appointment to have my acryllic nails filled, and they got me in right away. The tech that did my nails was not very friendly at all. He actually hurt my skin when he filed my nails/he was very rough. He filed my nails and not one nail was the same length as the other. Several of them he filed way too short. I was charged an extra $5 as he had to put new tips on two nails (I have never been charged for this before at other salons). The polish started to chip off within 2 days of the fill/polish. Total bill for a fill was $25. I will never return to this nail salon. read more

My daughter and I stopped in with no appointment they took both of us right away. I got a pedicure and she got a full set of fake nails. We both got our eyebrows waxed as well. The first time I had a pedicure, a little nervous but was with my daughter and niece so we did it. Great experience the gal did a great job and very friendly. The second time was a different story. I went in with no appt and took me even though they were very busy. After soaking for a while I kept hearing something. I looked up and TV was showing a movie with full blown sex scene naked bodies and all. Everyone was very uncomfortable I finally told them it was inappropriate and they needed to change it. The guy that was doing my feet looked a bit put off and I said it is not right and there were kids in there. Someone finally changed it and the response was oops we soddy. At that time my pedicure was quick and awful. I do have mixed feelings on this place. I have seen both sides of their work. I might go back but never if they are busy and will not let that guy do my feet. read more
