A couple of years ago when I moved from CA to PA I took my vehicles in there to get the CA titles changed to PA titles. It took 3 visits to get it done. Every time I went in they'd say I needed something additional. I didn't mind the first time when they told me I'd need a safety inspection done. But the second time I went in they said I needed a VIN verification done also. I asked why they hadn't informed me of that the first time I was there? I also asked if they couldn't just go out to the parking lot and verify it themselves. They said "no, it has to be done by a state inspection site. Again, I had just come from one for the safety inspection. Even the inspection station was confused and said they'd never had to do that before. Last week I went in there to register a new motorcycle I had bought in Illinois. When I went in they'd say gal said the transfer of ownership box the dealer filled in and signed needed to be notarized. I called the dealer while at AAA and had their sales manager talk to the gal at AAA to make sure it was clear what was needed. The AAA representative said that the box would need to be notarized or the dealer would have to apply for a PA title. When the gal from the dealer asked what she would need to do? The AAA rep gave her a phone number and a website for PA's DOT. The dealer rep called the number only to find out you couldn't talk to a live human on the phone. She then went on the website only to find there was no option for what she was trying to do. So I spent the $11 and sent the title back to the dealer to get it notarized. The following week I received the title back with the notarized signature. I went back and was told the odometer disclosure would also have to be signed and notarized by the dealer! I asked why I hadn't been told that before. All I got was a half hearted "sorry". I called the dealer and explained what they were wanting now. The dealer rep said in Illinois, that box only needed to be completed if they were selling a used bike. Not a new one. I went back in the AAA office and spoke with a manager. She said, in PA, the box would need to be completed & notarized. So another $11 and another week wasted. Not to mention the time I've had to wait for help while there. During all of this, I found out that AAA in CA had charged me almost $300 for the past year's membership. Because it was in auto renewal I didn't notice the extra payment. When I had moved to PA back in September of 24, I was told my CA membership wasn't any good anymore since I no longer lived in the state. But the switched my membership to one for PA. Well, turns out, they don't cancel your other membership, you, the consumer are required to do that. When I talked to the CA office about this, they explained someone in the PA office should have told me this! I finally got them to agree to refund me for the past year's CA membership. But really? This is the kind of service I can expect from AAA after 39 years of membership? I'm considering canceling my membership and going with a different auto club. How said.

In over 5 years of running my business, I have worked with over 100 insurance agents across the country to provide rideshare drivers with rideshare insurance quotes and this is the FIRST time I've ever been stiffed and forced to resort to legal means to recover a payment. If these guys will stiff me over a measly $200 payment, I can only imagine how they treat their clients.

Allstate put a notice into this office for them to contact me to close home owners but I never recieved a call. Days later, I have called this office multiple times, no one answers the phone In addition, auto rates have jumped 22% in 6 months. Again, cant get anyone to talk to about this either. Nothing but the run around since I switched insurance companies. This is just for simple policy changes and questions. Terrifying what to think if I had an actual claim. 2 stars is generous! Also, most of these 5 star review are from initial contact for new policies. I agree, initially I felt warm and fuzzy. However, 6 months later, i cant get the simplest policy change done without jumping through hoops or stopping into their office, like anybody has time for that. Also, my rates have jumped and they just auto-charge your credit card the additional 20 bucks!

For years, I was a customer of Allstate, and I got tired of their significantly raising my rates every several months despite my having no claims. Therefore, in August 2024, I obtained insurance quotes from several other companies, including Madia Insurance Agency. I definitely felt happiest with Madia's communication, coverage, and premiums, so I purchased insurance policies through them. I had found Madia Insurance Agency through Google, and I filled out a form on their website in the late afternoon. The very next morning, the agent Nick Madia talked with me on the telephone for over an hour to discuss the coverages and premiums for auto, home, and umbrella insurance policies through Erie Insurance. I thought that his advice was very informative and not pushy. Later that day, I showed the three quotes to my husband. The next day, I talked with Nick on the phone again, increased some of the coverage, and signed up for the three insurance policies. Compared to agents from Allstate, State Farm, and other insurance companies, Nick's communication was significantly faster and more thorough, and his quotes were lower. So far, I have had my three insurance policies for only about one week, so I cannot comment on the billing and claims processes, but I feel very happy with the service from Madia Insurance Agency.
