Arrived around their opening time and was one of the first 20 parties in line on their soft opening. The line wasn't very long but it moved pretty slow tho. After 15-20minutes, it's still the same person standing at the register ordering! Like how??!! Not a fan of their interior decor tbh. However the store is spacious, tidy and smells good! But we're here for the drinks right?! So our party ordered 2 roasted brown sugar pearl fresh milks. To our surprise, it's too sweet! How to describe, I feel like it's too...diluted and too sweet at the same time! Idk, the boba doesn't taste fresh either. I was a lil sad. My friend's honey golden pearl roasted oolong tea isn't better. She said it's bland. The one drink tasted good is the roasted brown sugar milk tea. The flavor is there, not too sweet, not too bland. Came here on a Thursday evening and it wasn't very busy. They have plenty of selection of different drinks. I talked to the manager, and he said they have several different special series that they release. Based off their recommendations I got the regular size green milk tea with golden pearls from their golden pearl series. After the initial sip you can definitely taste the quality of the tea. This place is a HUGE PASSSSS! I did not like this whatsoever. The hype was real for this place and I fell into it. At first, I thought this would be as good as The Alley in Katy Asia town, but it was the exact opposite of great tasting boba. I do want to say that this place does look nice on the inside, they have a nice wall for photos. They have plenty of seatings but the chairs weren't comfortable. They had only 1 door to enter/exit which makes it difficult considering there's a crowd that day. Their drinks tasted like water to me, boba here is nothing special and tasted plain (maybe this was just a bad night). This is one of the newest boba place in Chinatown. Came in during a weekday evening, and I thought that the shop has lots of tables to sit. Music there is loud so I'm not really a good place to study (unless you're able to). The downside is that the long line to order blocks the entrance/exit (depending on the line). This is the first new boba shop opening up in 2022. Located in the Universal Shopping Center (same as Crawfish & Noodles) the parking was pretty bad at lunchtime. Cars kept circling around but I luckily snagged a spot not too far away. There was a steady stream of people coming in and out for their soft opening. I got the honey golden pearl green milk tea and the roasted brown sugar pearl fresh milk (both regular sizes around $5ish). So decent prices, not like a few of the $6+ drink spots that opened up in 2021...I really enjoyed the taste of the fresh milk. The roasted cream on top was so, so good. Very decadent. The bobas were cooked perfectly - both bouncy and chewy. The green milk tea wasn't my favorite (not a huge green tea person unless it's real matcha). It took a while for my drinks to come out but I was patient. The lady working the register was very nice and helpful! The place itself is large/spacey and would be a great spot to hang out with friends or chill for a bit, not cramped at all. Can't wait to come back to try more fresh milk options! read more

They sealed my cup with a plastic wrap though there was cheese foam on the top, so how come I could sip the cheese foam like they recommended? The milk tea is way too sweet than other places so highly recommend you reduce the sugar level. The boba should be softer. And pricing? New boba place in bellaire! I was super excited to try them out!! The line wasn't too long considering they have only been only open for 5 days! They have many different "series" of boba, golden boba, the roasted brown sugar, and many more options. I got the roasted milk tea and matcha. The drinks were 7/10, the boba were ordinary, nothing spectacular. The drinks itself were better than the boba. I don't think I will be back though. We asked for less ice and clearly you can see how much ice they gave us. This place is also expensive. A small cup is roughly $5-6 and the large is about $6-6.50.. did I mention no ice was .50 cents????? I am confused. They are just taxing on every little thing lol. Medium size roasted brown sugar milk with honey boba is actually not sweet. Perfect for those that like not too sweet desserts! Price came out to 5.95 for a medium cup which is average now a days, cheaper than XingFuTang. The cups and lids are flimsy and not great. My lid wouldn't stay on. Stopped by today to check out this boba place I saw on tiktok. The adorable drink lids with the teddy bear ears is what drew me here. The drink selection is pretty basic, all their drinks mainly had brown sugar in it. I ordered the brown sugar with Matcha and it was okay. The consistency of the drink was too creamy and thick for my personal liking. My main reasons for this 2-star review was because I had ordered the large size but they gave me the small size. Luckily, I noticed it right away and they fixed my order and even allowed me to keep my initial drink that they had messed up on. I applaud them on their customer service for doing that. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when i got home and starting drinking the drink a bit more. I took a slip and found this piece of plastic in my drink.... I'm such a snob when it comes to boba. So many places use cheap tea and pump it full of sweetener so you can't tell. But Daboba? They use such amazing tea. Their milk teas and regular teas are all fantastic to the point where I don't even want to add boba since the tea is that amazing on its own (I still do lol). I promise you won't be disappointed by these drinks. Absolutely worth visiting plus they have a cute little crane machine inside and a machine to get Pokemon cards for a few quarters! I highly recommend just starting off with the house milk tea with 75% sugar and boba just so you can see for yourself how amazing the tea here is. read more
