Juniata Crossing is a very cool historic building that once served as a Tavern and Carriage stop in…read morethe early days of America. The building itself is stepped in history and has saw the likes of Abe Lincoln and PT Barnum. Today the building serves as an eclectic gift shop that offers many different themes of gifts. The shop has about 5 rooms on two floors filled with gifts. Although this place is a bit pricey it does have some unique pieces. One real downside of this shop is actually trying to get into it. Unfortunately it's location is on a divided highway and can't be accessed when heading west and must be passed in order to turn around and head back east to access it. Once heading east don't miss the small gravel entrance (that is not marked) or you will pass it again and have to drive another 2 miles to turn around and do it all over again. Overall if you can make it a point to get into this place its well worth the stop for the history itself and maybe find a cool gift while your there.
