Cristy's has the best prices of any liquor store that I have been to, over the last 20 years. They…read moreconsistently maintain their reasonable prices, from the cheapest brands, to the most premium, and these prices are not raised based on the time of year. In fact, they are not raised at all. Cristy's maintains an incredible and unusually wide selection of bourbon. They stock excellent whiskey/whiskies from distillers that few people have ever heard of, to some of the most sought after and difficult to obtain bottles that can be found on store shelves. These bourbons, like all of Cristy's other products, are heavily discounted. In addition to their excellent prices, Cristy's also offers tastings, brand ambassadors, food truck events, and some (definitely not all) very knowledgeable staff. For convenience, they also sell mixers, fruit garnishes, and cigars.

I got there on a Saturday around 9:30 AM and found a nice KC12 in their allocated drop. Not much of a Blanton's fan but they had Blantons and Weller SR (green label, also not a favorite of mine) that was sold out. The staff is helpful, patient, and makes the trip worth it. The whole demeanor of the store is relaxed without pressure to buy anything; I appreciate that element because I know what I want and if I have questions I'll ask them. I will come back in the future.

We were hitting up a bunch of shows and rather than pay venue beverage prices we planned to enjoy a beverage at our hotel before strolling to a show. This liquor store is across from Kroger's and the parking lot is a triangle. The first time we were not sure where the entrance was located because of the odd shaped triangle lot. Seriously this is before we drank wine. They had a nice selection of wine and really good sale prices. We picked out a few wineries that I had never heard of like Portlandia and one other New Zealand wine that was on clearance. When we visited again in 2023 we noticed they had an extended selection of bourbon's including several Japanese brands behind the counter. As with the bourbon market these days the availability seems to be the favorable feature not competitive pricing. The staff is very friendly and they make really good use of the available shelf space considering it is not a big store. I would much rather shop Toddy's instead of a big box store because they have comparable if not better prices, good selection and the people we spoke to were very knowledgeable about their products.
