From what I understand, it is owned by the wife of a famous chef and her name being with Co, the restaurant was names after her. I can't remember if her name is Colleen, but it was something like that anyway. It's situated on the corner of a sort of intersection, so it can get a bit noisy with traffic. The interior is well put together and feels like it is trying to separate itself as a high end eatery, without the super high end price. Having a Michelin stared husband chef, obviously has its benefits, and although I do not believe he cooks here, his advice and guidance is evident. All though I didn't try the food, what I saw looked stunning, well thought out and well presented. The wine list again is thoughtful (but after all it is France), and locally sourced - which I loved. Overall I rather liked Co, and when I return I'll be sure to sample something from the food menu.

One seemed as good as the next, so we sat down in the Brasserie Le France. As usual in south of France the service was friendly, water and bread were brought together with the menu. All these simple things that make French restaurants so good. The traffic was dangerously close to our table and some idiot thought it was funny to honk right next to us. I had a pretty good herring and some salad but would have liked to choose my own dressing. My girlfriend's duck confit seemed tasty as well. The prices were reasonable. All in all it was a decent lunch. A restaurant like this in Dublin would deserve at least 4 stars. Comparing it to the amazing gourmet moments I had elsewhere in France a 3 seems fair.

My boo got the fish filet which was good. It came with fries, salad, Camembert, salmon lox (in addition to the white fish filet). So it was all over the place. We had a bottle of rosé which was OK.
