I don't know what happened to him but my hair got worse and worse with the last 3 appts I had. The last appointment I with him lasted 7 hours because he FRIED my hair. I left with broken, dry hair with different shades of blonde, orange, brown and purple (toner). I literally looked like a striped tiger. AND he bleached the back of my shirt and said NOTHING to me. I don't mean a small spot I mean the entire upper half of my shirt. He let me leave looking there looking like a friggin hot mess for the cost of $300. He tried to hide how bad it was by cutting so much of my hair off and curling it so I wouldn't notice. I didn't have my glasses and I wa so mad about being there for so long that I just left. Which was my mistake, but most of the damage was in the back and on top of my head were I couldn't see and was a COMPLETELY different color than the front. And, my husband is the one who asked me what happened to my shirt. I knew it was wet, but I didn't know it was bleached. I was livid. Thankfully, I found someone who was wonderful at color correction and she knew EXACTLY who did this to my hair because he has a reputation in the hair community.....and not a good one. I now know why he is pretty much the only stylist at his shop. Stylists don't want to be associated with him. When you catch him on a "good" day you woll be pleased(read between the lines on what is happening with him) but if you catch him on a "bad" day, you are screwed. So I went to his salon on Friday, Nov. 30th to make an appt. for the following Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 and I told him I had #naturalhair and who had referred me. I specifically asked him if I could call him in case something changed and I needed to come in earlier. He said yes but that he had to do a sew-in on Tuesday but any time after that would be fine. Well as the week progressed I had an interview setup for that Friday so I called his shop on Thursday morning to speak with him about coming in as soon as possible. I am assuming whoever was in the shop answered the phone and I left a message for him to call me. This was at 8AM. I called back at 11 because I had not heard back from him and again the same lady answered the phone and I left yet another message. I still had not heard back from him by 1PM so I called his cell and left a message. After I still had not heard back from him at 3:30PM, I went up to his shop to see if perhaps someone else in his shop might accommodate me. Low and behold, as I walk in, Mr. Clem is there roller setting a ladies hair and was almost done. I was livid but I politely asked him if he had received any of my messages and his response to me was, "Yes, I got here about an hour ago and I've been busy, I had not had a chance to call you." So I proceed to ask him if he had an opening and he patronizingly asks, "What do you need done?" I tell him I need a wash and press. He sighs deeply and seems disturbed and agitated by my interrupting him and my line of questioning. I told him never mind and walked out. No one who owns a business should EVER be visibly distressed and perturbed when a new client seeks them out for THEIR services. Mr. Clem and "We Are One" will NEVER have to worry about me patronaging his business or establishment.

I went for a full Brazilian appointment and left with 27% of my hair still intact. I've never had that with any other wax session. Mind you, I left my previous waxer due to laziness - although I had been several times before as she had always been great with me, but that's honestly irrelevant to this experience. This statement will make sense once the screenshots are read. The aesthetician, Emily, was sweet but apparently inexperienced. She never mentioned to me my posture, my opinion of the service after it was complete, or if there was any issue with the service. I tipped more than I would normally for her kindness and fully expected to go back. Upon arrival home, I inspected my yoni and about 27% of the hair was still there. It literally looks like I shaved in a hurry with a dull razor. Upset, I reached out to "Skin Stuntz" asking for a partial refund as the service was not provided as requested. She agreed, said it would be Monday before received, and asked for my PayPal or Venmo for payment. Kerri, her boss, messages me saying she can redo the service, but it was against policy to refund me. I question several issues such as why her employee would offer if that's the case and was met with clear hostility. Please help yourself to the screenshots below of the interaction. I feel sorry for the girls working as her employees and the fact that she thinks it's okay to not refund me my money when I told her to keep the cost of the material and labor. The girl was tipped $12 alone, why wouldn't you at least give the tip back? She gives serious mean girl energy and does not give care to customers who don't have an issue speaking up for themself. Why would I want more service from a salon who can't get it right, or communicate with me about the service (since apparently I'm the one in the wrong)?
